| Just a few fun and amusing poems written by me. Tree maker Make the world a better place Look in to the eyes on your face Look deep, deep down at your very own heart Keep looking the story is about to start My story begins at the age of nine I was sewing with tread thin and fine Just then an idea hit my mind I grabbed my thread, ran out the door Threw it in the air, then threw some more On some of the trees it looked like hair The nsuddenly a bird flew by He took some thread and he flew so high I roared, what a pest, you took off the hair on the trees noe bare I followed him and to my suprise He built a nest, I saw it with my own two eyes Helping to make a nest for a bird so small Is a wonderful lesson to be learned by all If we open our eyes look deep in our hearts We'll all get the message and do our part Making the world a world a better place Is what puts a smile on the treemakers face Mittens There once was spotted young kitten a windowsill is where she was sittin' She wanted a name, nothing to tame but somehow she ended with Mittens Darla and her collar Dear Darla dollar loved her gold collar she slept with it all through the night but the poor little collar did nothin but hollar 'cause Darla's looks were a fright |
