| i have an interpretation about "Two Days In February" on Hold Me Up. Well, its obviuos that the song is about a long-distance relationship, but i think there is more behind it. for example when johnny sings "well im sorry i aint there with you, but you aint here with me" i think he means that he is always the one who has to make an effort to keep the relationsihp going-- like, the girl could come and see him too but she doesnt. i also think that the girl that the song is about isnt happy with the relationship because they are so far away with eachother, and he doesnt know what to do so he just ends the relationship; insead of trying to make the girl happy because it obviously wasnt working. "something i cant touch i always want way too much, anyway"..in this line, he is saying that it is tourture to be so far away from the person that you love. *Thanks a bunch, Tanya!* |
