Michael Madsen stars as Mr. Chapel, who has taken it upon himself to exact his brand of justice on criminals by giving them a taste of their own medicine. K.C. Griffen is his sidekick. She's a paralegal who tags along making sure he doesn't go too far.
TV Guide said "Chapel is one of the most preposterous TV characters in years...he's comically pretentious." I think they got it right this time.
Besides the fact that the premise for this show was very contrived, it was scheduled on Thursday night, a very strong NBC night ("Seinfeld", "ER", etc.). With that kind of competition, even a good show would have had a tough go of it. "Vengeance Unlimited" didn't stand a chance.
This show had "sacrificial lamb" written all over it.
