Kicking off "TGIF" (or "Thank God It's Friday"--what ABC calls its Friday night kiddie show programming campaign), it's the reincarnation of the irrepressible Olsen Twins.

This show was designed to help ease those suffering from acute separation anxiety pangs from recent TV Graveyard arrival "Full House".

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are no longer dressing alike. In this "comedy", one's a tomboy, the other likes to hang out at malls--kind of like the identical cousins in "The Patty Duke Show". But not exactly.

The TV Guide 1998 Fall Preview gave this show "Favorite Show" status.

But let me also quote something else TV Guide had to report when they interviewed Robert L. Boyett, the Executive Producer of "Two of a Kind", a longtime partner of Thomas L. Miller who discovered the Olsens as babies and wrote them into "Full House". (Gee, no favoritism there!)

Robert L. Boyett said: "Kids are the most astute audience in the world about picking up phony acting and phony dialogue from other kids. They'll pick the ones to watch...and the Olsens are the ones they'd pick."

And so: America's children were the ones to drive the final nail into the Olsen Twins' coffin-built-for-two, and bury them once and for all in this, our TV Graveyard.

Moms and Dads, tonight when you're tucking your little ones in bed and kissing them goodnight, please don't let yourself forget this.

But B E W A R E ! The Olsen twins escaped once. For all that's holy, for the good of Mankind, let's hope to GOD they never escape again.
