This show was in a bad timeslot. Up against such ratings bonanzas as "3rd Rock from the Sun" (NBC), "Drew Carey" (ABC), "Party of Five" (FOX), and "Star Trek Voyager" (UPN), this show didn't stand a chance.
Annie and Sean are newlyweds. She's a public defender and he's a cop. At work they clash, but at home, all is well. They both come from Irish families and the in-laws live close by in Boston. The show contained courtroom scenes which had the potential of being engaging, but just couldn't sustain the dramatic tension and wound up simply boring the audience.
Again, the competition was too fierce in this killer timeslot. The show was cancelled in Winter of 1999. |
