Three divorced men in New York "bond" at the golf course, neighborhood restaurants, etc.
With a powerful lead-in like "The Drew Carey Show", this show still managed to fail. It seemed like an interesting idea, a kind of younger male version of "The Golden Girls", but there wasn't much room for expanded plots. Basically, these guys got together, and complained about their miserable lives as one.
Were the creators trying to appeal to women by creating a show about 3 available young guys? If so, women would have been turned off by them complaining about their ex-wives. Were the creators trying to appeal to men by showing how guys can bond together through adversity? If so, men would have been turned off by all the bitter whining.
So who did this show finally end up appealing to? No one. It was cancelled.
