Oscar is a kid torn between two single-guy role models: his fussy college profressor dad and his partying football-pro uncle who moves in with father and son.
This show was described as "The Odd Couple with a kid". The fact that the kid was named "Oscar" was no coincidence.
TV Guide strikes again! They gave this show "Favorite Show" status and said, "As TGIF sitcoms go, this one is indeed a keeper." And what a "clever" pun! It's a "keeper"! "Brother's Keeper" is a "keeper", get it? Yeeesh!
Once again, TV Guide blows it. I think they should stick to their strenghts: shallow celebrity profiles and pathetically-easy crossword puzzles. |
