............The very basis of a Christian I believe is, faith unto works , and DEAD FAITH is not good enough , you must show your faith by your works, REAL LIVING FAITH, so, if you have Jesus within,then you would have the fruits of the Spirit, for by them , He knows those that are His , and chief amongst the fruits is, LOVE, which is expressed outward towards God and your fellowman. These are the basis of a true Christian, can you say you do not deny Christ , if you deny Him to work through you , by not allowing the outward expression of the fruit of the Spirit , let your faith be unto works.....................GALATIANS:5:22-24; (22) But the fruit of the Spirit is, love,joy,peace,longsuffering,gentleness,goodness,faith. (23) Meekness,temperance; against such there is no law. (24) And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with it's affections and lusts.......................This is the Rock upon which we build , this is the foundation of your faith , for truly this is the character of Christ Jesus..................Be not conformed to the world, but , by the renewing of your mind, be you transformed in Christ Jesus , to be like-minded with Christ , be true followers of He that paid the price for you , He would call you son's of God , then do that which He would do , walk , even as He walked , continuelly prayerful , giving heed as to how you walk in your daily walk , which be in the strength of the Holy Spirit which strengthens you to do all things , endure all things , for He has given you that Spirit which bears fruit , be not an unfruitful branch , seeking only your own good and perhaps only that of your immediate family...............When was the last time you reached out the hand of , love , compassion , mercy , to a stranger , or someone sick or dying , those in prison , the homeless and the poor and needy , yes , when?....................Alright we do have societies like , St Vincents De Paul , Salvation Army and the like , but , truly , they have their reward , are you justified if their faith be unto works? have you not read? that each person will be judged according to his or her own works or deeds , and not that of another , to say to one who is in need of comfort compassion , clothing , food , or shelter and it is in your hand to help him , but instead you direct him on to another , saying , The Lord's blessing be upon you , and lift not a finger in aid yourself!!....SHAME that you call yourself a Christian , did the Lord pass on to another those that came to Him fo help? are you not to walk as He did?....Don't you know, that the Holy Spirit< is the same Spirit that works in Christ? yet , do you deny Him? by denying that same Spirit to work in , and through you >< as a testimony and a witness of our Lord Jesus Christ................If you read and hear the Word, but do it not , what then is your reward?...surely you do not want to be amongst those , who , when Christ returns , are found not doing so? and you would say to Him: Lord , Lord , have we not prophesied in your Name? and cast out demons in your Name? and done many wonders in your Name? I tell you the truth , He will say unto you; Depart from Me you who practice lawlessness.(Matt.7:22-24).............The law of Christ Jesus is the law of Love , so , when , was the last time you held out the hand of compassion...........I have tears in my eyes , for I know this is the time of the falling away , and many indeed are you who have fallen away , and left your first love and have forgotten to practice what you have heard and read you should be doing , you are like the virgins who had fallen asleep , your oil was not replenished and the Groom came in an hour you were not ready , though you knock on the door , He shall bid you depart , He does not know you , or the servant , who was found to be unprofitable upon his masters return, he was found not doing that which his master had bid him to do ,his Lord's will............Many are those who do not drink or smoke , and go religiously to church every weekend , but tis all appearance , God looks on the heart , and upon your deeds , which are the outward expression of the inner condition.....Few are you who read and take heed of MATTHEW; 15:10-20.......Are you modern day pharisees , when did you last reach out the hand of compassion to the sick , the needy , the fallen , or the sinner?....Our Lord Jesus Christ was condemned by His own , for eating and drinking with sinners , what would yoyu say , if one of your fellow congregation was seen , in a hotel drinking and talking with a sinner?.....remember , they did not ask Christ what He was talking to the sinners about , they merely condemned Him...........No my dear friends , christianity is not about what you eat or drink , or empty attendance at services , but Chritianity IS the Love of God towards sinners , the sick , the needy , those in prison , and those that have fallen , to lift them up again ,....."He's not heavy , he's my brother", were the words of a song , yet how many of you are lazy Christians and find your brother too heavy when he falls by the wayside , so that you will not seek to lift him up again?................Truly , how can you lift Christ up in your heart , when you cannot lift your brother out of the miry pit , did not the Lord surely give you example when He spoke of lifting the donkey out of the miry pit on the sabbath day?....no my friends , not observance , but rather , compassion , but then , do not despise to gather yourselves together either , ought you to do one and leave the other undone? God forbid! only ,......let the Love of God take precedence..........If you do that for which Christ gave example , then He indeed calls you brother.....These so called Christians that go to church and have done so for many years , but only to say; "I have been going to church for nigh on 10 , or be it 20 years.".........Verily, you cannot be a follower of our Lord , if you do not what you read and hear and preach , you must also have that Love in your heart , which so dwell in you unto works unto others or else your faith is dead , being unfruitful.........The differance between a real Christian and a name only Christian is , approximately 18 inches , the distance between your head and your heart , your heart is where the Holy Spirit should dwell , prompting love , compassion , and the other fruits of the spirit which tend unto good works of the profitable servant , by which fruits He knows those that are His........Both head and heart must be in harmony with the Holy Spirit of Love..........When was the last time you reached out the hand to a sinner , or one in dire need , or full of dispair......But also , when was the last time that tear fell for one you knew not well?...............Who amongst you calls him or herself a Christian? yet you are;a LIAR,CHEAT,AND THIEF:........You are cheating , because you do not His Words in action in the true Spirit of the Lord , it is in your mind only and bears no fruit , devoid of deeds , then you are cheating your brother , who needed you , and you call yourselves Christian , stealing credit where no credit is due! therefore a thief ,....and a liar ,for you say you are a follower of Christ , but do nothing that is Christ-like..........................Did not the Lord say the thief comes to steal , and ,they speak lies at one table , also ; they have become altogether unprofitable?.........It is all too easy to wear sheeps clothing , yet underneath retain the nature of the wolf , how many times have business men gone to church every weekend , appear as upstanding pillars of the community , yet in business are quick and greedy , ready to devour their fellow man in the name of mammon , the god of money , men or women , to whom gain is a virtue , and their hearts are hardened to those in need , they make a great show of giving to charity , but to quiet their conscience , they do npothing personally , they are empty vessels , making a great noise in the congregation , but are devoid of that down to earth holy Spirit Love ,verily , are you one of those? indeed.... the Lord calls you hypocrite , liar , cheat and thief.....................Yet , does the Lord love you , He wants you to get hearts of flesh , not stone , where is love , compassion , mercy , yes , and justice tempered with mercy , for these things are acceptable to the Lord , not endless prayers that avail to your own image amongst your fellows , not empty attendance at church gatherings but devoid of any fruit from a heart that should be the home of the Love of God...............ARE YOU LISTENING YOU JUDGES AND MAGISTRATES?....do the poor of this nation recieve ustice anymore? I tell you , it is now the exception , not the rule , mark well these words:........................ISAIAH;59:14-15;..(14) And judgement is turned away backward ,and justice stands afar off ; for truth falls in the street , and equity cannot enter.(15)..Yes , truth fails ; and he that departs from evil makes himself a prey ; and the Lord saw it , and it displeased Him that there was no justice.........................(CONCLUSION ON PAGE 3)>
