| TODAY IS BEAUTIFUL, BECAUSE TODAY, WE HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO GIVE AND RECEIVE LOVE People with a weight condition often blame themselves for not having greater willpower. They tend to think less of themselves. There is a chemical in our brains which allows us to feel satisfied when we eat. If our body is not producing enough of that chemical, we will not feel satisfied and will want to continue to eat. God understands that. He or she, loves you no matter what size or shape you are and I love you too. Please don't be hard on yourself. I want you to love yourself just as you are. You have just as much value on this planet as anyone else. You have just as much to offer. If anyone treats you like you're less valuable because of how you look, they simply have not yet, had the good within them, awakened. When I go out on my daily walk, I see people of all shapes and sizes. Often these people do not acknowledge me as I smile at them. Sometimes they don't even look up and that makes me afraid to look up and afraid to smile, because it hurts when friendliness is not returned. I am a thin person and when I get a smile from another person, whether they're thick or thin, it makes me feel good. I want and need your smiles. I want and need you to understand how valuable you are. You have power, power that gives me strength to keep smiling. Our world desperately needs love, acceptance, and smiles. ----jim UNIVERSAL CHILD There?s power in the patience of a tiny seedling, force to push through stone, though gradual, is its motion, its power will be known. Some seeds grow with grace and ease, strait up towards the sky, and some seeds fight, to grow at all, as others pass them by. The biggest job, is not to doubt, though progress may seem slow, a tiny thought, can someday sprout, a plan that will someday glow. Reach up, reach up and touch, reach up and touch the sky. Reach out , reach out and help, others who struggle in life. There are many different kinds of seeds, and many different shapes. There?s big and small, and thick and thin, each special, in its own way. And like the seeds, that are in the world, we are different too. The way you look, is the perfect look, for the plan in store for you. If you feel that, you don't fit in, and you feel out of place, The way your different, can be a treasure, with a value that is great. Reach up, reach up and touch, reach up and touch the sky. Reach out , reach out and help, others who struggle in life. Sometimes, the energy, we spend on a certain goal, would be better spent, trying not to prevent, a more natural plan, to flow. Some things, seem so unlikely, that we choose, to not believe. And in doing so, we rob ourselves, of happiness, we could achieve. A noble dream, can have a power, beyond that which is known. If we choose to look, beyond a look, to us this will be shown. Reach up, reach up and touch, reach up and touch the sky. Reach out , reach out and help, others who struggle in life.
