A great trading strategy can be to find out what stocks are being added to the S&P 500. The source for this would be Standards & Poors Index Services. When you get there click on "current list of S&P 500" then click on "News". Here you will get all the recent additions, deletions and yes news. Here's another useful site at theCME where you can get daily chart and statistics / weekly charts and more for the INDICES S&P etc. daytraders tips Good list of stock trading sites stocksites.net You know that secretive world of computer trading programs, well at HL Camp & Co. click on "today's buy/sell programs" you'll get a short free list of stock symbols for the current day's buy/sell program trading One of my most favorite tools to use is at the NASDAQ here enter a nasdaq stock symbol. click on "Info quotes" then click the analyst info button, then using the drop menu highlight the "earnings per share" line. Once this comes up you'll get a bargraph chart picture of earnings actual vs past and future estimates. It's a great easy way to see a company's earnings trend and meeting or not meeting past estimates. A very useful tool if you like to trade stocks on pre-earnings announcements momentum.
