Family: Courteney is the youngest of four children. When Courteney was 10, her parents divorced after 19 years of marriage. Courteney stayed with her mother, brother and two sisters.

Loves: To Renovate Homes. She buys houses, does them up, and sells them as a hobby. Jennifer Aniston is one of the people she advised on buying a new home.

Education: Courteney went to Mountain Brook High, a puclic school in Birmingham. In 1982, Courteney graduated from high school and then began to study architecture at Mt. Vernon college in Washington.

Jobs: She worked afternoons at a pool supply store. She later saved enough money from that job to buy her own car when she was 16 - a blue Datsun 210. Courteney did ads for Noxema and Maybelline and also, had a small soap role on As the World Turns. It wasn't until 1984 that Courteney became known, when she was the girl Bruce Springsteen pulled on stage to dance with at end of his Dancing in the Dark video. The job paid $350, but the exposure was enough to springboard Courteney to other work in the Acting business. In 1985, Courteney was in the NBC series Misfits of Science, which was dropped in four months. That same year, Courteney was cast as Lauren, Michael J. Fox's girlfriend on Family Ties. She did several motion pictures after, but it wasn't until 1994 when she got her next big break. Courteney was cast in Ace Ventura: Pet Detective. Soon after Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, Courteney won the part of Monica Geller.

Monica Geller is her name! She's an Obssesive
Neat Freak, so don't even touch her Green stool. Shes the most nor
mal and she is easy to talk too. She is totally opposite to her old
roomate and very weird Miss Phoebe Buffay (Lisa Kudrow). She
lives in number 20 with her brother Ross's (David Schwimmer) girl
friend, Rachel Green (Jennifer Aniston). Across the hall is Very witty
Chandler Bing (Matthew Perry) and his Actor roomate Joey Tribianni
(Matt LeBlanc). Her mother Judy and her father Jack are one of a
kind. Its always ROSS did this, ROSS did that and never do they
congratulate or say something positive to her. Monica has been with a
lot of guys, but the one guy she was in love and still is, is Richard Burke.
Monica would be a really trust worthy friend that you could tell her any
thing and she would understand.

Who's Richard??:
Well he is Monica's parents best friend.He's 21 years
older, and he's "sophisticated and one of the sexiest guys I have been with"
says Monica. Richard and Monica are really great together, except for
one thing. He doesn't want Children and Monica does. He is already
a Grandpa, and says if he "Has" to have a child to be with Monica he
will. But in TOW Barry and Mindys Wedding, they decide to go their
separate ways, even if they both love each other. Its sad!!

Why I Like Monica:
It's so Funny to watch Monica faffing around her appartment trying to keep things clean trying to prove to everyone she is not a freack, and fails considerably well. I see her as the most sane friend and has the worst ever parents!
