This patent-pending design makes the T-MAXX the only nitro truck which allows full proportional control of your throttle and brakes in both forward and reverse. The new Traxxas TQ-3 radio system has a third channel to control forward/reverse shifting. In addition to forward/reverse capability, the T-MAXX has a two-speed transmission (two-speeds forward, two-speeds reverse).
