| Still No Cause In House Fire! |
Arson investigators have searched through the charred remains of the house, and still no cause has been found. So far firefighters have announced the damage will cost around $700,000 US. Tom's parents were visiting at the time when the fire started, but were staying in a nearby guest house.
Tom and Drew are glad that there little dog Flossie, part Chow and part Yellow Lab mix, had woke them up before the flames got worse and could have killed them both. They say Flossie was barking that bark that you know something had to have been wrong. That bark woke Drew and Tom up, and Drew called 911 just before the fire had burned through the phone wires and cut the line. Then she got her 3 dogs together, Flossie, Templeton and Vivian, and escaped the house with Tom close behind, running through thick black smoke. CNN had reported that around 60 firefighters and 2 helicopters helped fight the fire and put it out. |
