The air after the storm was wonderful, fresh and crisp. The moon shone high in the black sky, stars of other universes twinkling around it as if each one worshiped the vast globe. Her paws made no sound as she headed for the clearing. The air carried a scent to her nose. Hmmm... An Armoron had passed through here not too long ago. Black silk fur rippled over muscle as she stepped into the moonlight clearing. Finally her beauty was reveled. Black fur covered her, silver claws and fangs gleamed, firey eyes glittered. The blackfire flame on the end of her tail sparked and sizzled with the humid air. Not a sound was heard as she walked towards the small pond in the clearing center, mind on full alert. Leaning over, her tongue lapped up the cool water. As the clearing stayed quiet, her fears lessoned. She laid down on the dewy grass and curled up, tail over her nose. Her eyes stayed watchful as she waited for something to come by. Sure enough, in about 5 minutes, a Bedine slipped into the clearing. An evoled form, very nice. The Begine's were always to stringy. Staying perfectly still, she waited till the right moment, calling her psychic powers forth, and slammed into the Bedine with her move called Nightmare. The Bedine let out a howl into the night as its mind thrashed with a living nightmare. She strengthed it, and at last the Bedine fell to the ground, dead. Her eyes watched the clearing as she dragged the larger pokemon to the woods, and too her home. Once inside the small den, she sliced the Bedine open with a claw. In the space of fifteen mins, she had reduced the large, dog-sized pokemon to a skeleton. A drop of blood fell from her muzzle, but her belly was content. She curled up on the pile of leaves at the back of the den and quickly fell asleep.
The the next night found her awake, cleaning up by picking the bones up with her mind and tossing them into the pond. That's when she heard it. A thrashing in the underbush. She hid in the dark, invisable, and waited to see what would come. Something, a pokemon she had never seen before stepped out from the shrubs. It was very tall, perhaps as big as a panichra, but very thin, and not the muscular. The lack of muscles warned her that this pokemon might be another psychic one. The pokemon stood on its hind feet, and was completely hairless except for a tuff on its head. It seemed to have furs of a sort covering the rest of it. Maybe the furs where really armor? It didnt seem to have any claws or fangs, not even a tail. What was it? And how had it come up on her unseen?! The pokemon bore a pouch on its back, maybe it was a female of the group, with an egg. But no! It knelt down and gathered a large pile of sticks and logs and rocks, form the rocks into a ring, and placed the wood into the center. She wondered what it was for. Her ears heard the sounds coming from the pokemon's mouth. It said alot, but she couldnt understand it except for one name, pikachu. Ah, she remembered the now-extint lil-yellow rat, the could never hurt her and had a wonderful taste. The pokemon pulled out a metalic object, it looked like a peice of an armoron's hide. But to her surprise, the pokemon flicked a finger and a flamed appear on the end of it! It must be a fire pokemon! The pokemon tried to put the flame to the wood, supposedly something was supposed to happen. Finally, the wood caught fire and a weak flame kindled a moment, then died. She tilted her head, caustious but wondering. Slowly, she stepped out into the light, her form shown to the other pokemon. The other pokemon looked at her with awe, and stayed perfectly still. She walked to the pokemon and stared at it. The word "human" appeared into her mind after by-passing the mind barrier. That must be what this pokemon is called. Human. What a strange name. Human pulled out another object, and pointed it at her. The object called out loudly...
Gemaside. A first evolution pokemon. This pokemon is both fire and psychic, and has been known to kill instead of making enemies faint. Do not go near, it is a written law.
The human stared at her for a moment, then said something.
"You dont seem to be so dangerous, Gemaside."
And that was the last thing it could get out before a massive group of Begines and Bedines appeared, circling them. Gemaside growled and stared them down. Finally, one Bedine attacked her from behind. It sunk its enormous claws into her sides, and shook her. Her cry of pain rebounded in their mind, sharp as nails driving into their skulls. Most of the fell back, and the one on her back fell after sending an bolt of lighting through its claws into her. She sagged under its weight, then fell hard. The other Bedines and Begines ran for the hills, leaving their dead leader behind. The human sat in wonder, not knowing what happened. It pulled out the object of before and listened.
Bedine. An eletric/psychic pokemon, enemies of the Gemasides. It is friendly in most times, but in battle it is exetremely fierce. It claws and teeth work as conductors and once near an enemy, a single touch will shock it hard.
The human gasped, and pulled out two shiny balls. The human yelled out something and threw the balls at the two down pokemon carefully. Each ball hit the two pokemon, and sucked them in with a flash of light. The balls wriggled for a second, then fell silent...
A flash of light woke her, making her blink. Human was standing over her, light from the noonday sun was burning down on her. She yelped and cowered away from it for a moment, then used her powers to lessen the rays. She looked around in wonder, never seeing the day before. Human had an object in its hand, something with the word Hyper Potion written on the outside. Gemaside tilted her head in wonder, and raised a paw towards the object.
What is that? She said in Humans mind.
Human blinked and looked around with shock, then fixed its eyes on her.
Youre psychic! I forgot! Hello, Gemaside. Please
Dont hurt me. I rescued you and that Bedine pack leader, It pointed to the still fainted Bedine on the side of the road. Please
Trust me. I wont hurt you. He pointed the object at her and a fine mist fell onto her. She went into defensive mode, but stopped when the mist seemed to make her feel much better. She eyed Human warily.
What kind of pokemon are you, Human?
