Episode 35 "Legend of Dratini"
Continuing in the Safari Zone, the group comes upon the warden's cabin. Ash and the others get some Safari Balls and other tools needed to legally catch Safari Zone pokémon and he goes out searching. All Ash can catch are Tauros and whenever he tries for something else, a herd of Tauros run by and one is caught. Team Rocket invade the warden's cabin and try by means of torture to get him to tell them where they can find Dratini which he was famous for having found a while back. They get Meowth to sing and they put him in a tickling machine. He comes out to find the group and still is stuck in the tickler. Ash frees him from it and the warden tells them that Team Rocket are now aware of where Dratini is hiding. The warden takes them there to find Team Rocket plans to drop explosions to get the Dratini. Ash dives in to get the bombs, but runs out of air. Ash is saved by a Dragonair. Team Rocket eventually get blown away once again, this time by their own explosions and everyone is safe. The group continue on their way leaving the Safari Zone.

Episode 36 "The Bridge Bike Gang"
Finally Ash in co. have made it out of the Safari zone and now entered a strange town. When Ash goes to heal his Pokemon Nurse Joy askd for his help, she says that in a town called Sunny ville the Pokemon center needs medicine for a sick Shellder. Brock makes sure they all agree and heads out, the only problem is a bridge that you can only travel on with a bike. Luckily Nurse Joy loans them some bikes and they road off, but they meet a biclye gang of Pokemon trainers who want to fight. Ash agrees he sends out Bulbasaur who is quickly beaten by Golem, then he calls out Charmander who sets the trainer and Golem on fire. The next trainer a girl fights Misty with Cloyster Misty calls out Starmie, but gets Psyduck instead while everyone laughs at Psyduck including Ash.
Psyduck tries and tries but he couldn't dent Cloyster's shell, Misty tries to hit Psyduck so he can get his headache attack with her bike. But Team Rocket enters in and the bike gang says they love Team Rocket, but before they could start another fight a storm breaks out. All leave except for Ash in co. and Team Rocket as the gang still heads for Sunny ville, Team Rocket tries to follow but Pikachu blasts them off. Then Ash in co. finaly make it just in time for Shellder's medicine, and the bike gang found new friends in Ash in co. And now our heros are off to another journey.

Episode 37 "Ditto's Mysterious Mansion"
As Ashco is traveling through the forest, a storm occurs. They run into a nearby mansion for cover. Pikachu sees a ditto, and it transforms into Pikachu, however, it's face is still the same. Ash tries to capture it, when Dupleca, the Ditto's owner stops him. She tells him that Ditto has the power to transform into anything but it's face. Ash thinks it is boring, so Dupleca challenges him to a battle. "Ashy Boy" (Ash's ninckname in this episode), sends out Bulbasaur and Dupleca uses Ditto. She has Ditto transform into Bulbasaur and use his Vinewhip to restrain Bulbasaur. Ash gives up. Then Team Rocket appears and steals Ditto. Dupleca shows Ashco her collection of imitation clothes. Then Pidgeotto and Brock's Zubat tries to find Ditto, which they succeed. Meanwhile at TR's secret hideout, Jesse is trying to make Ditto transform into her first boyfriend. Unfortunately, his face comes out messed up. Jesse tells Ditto to get it right, or he'll regret it. Then Ditto perfectly transforms into Meowth, when Ashco appears doing the TR Motto. Jesse tells them that Ditto perfectly transformed and Dupleca thanks them. Moved by Dupleca's speech, they give her Ditto. BUT, they really gave her Meowth and Ash has Pikachu get Ditto, and Dupleca gets Ditto back and TR blasts off again. Dupleca heads back to her mansion and Ashco continues their Pokejourney.

Episode 38 "Electric Soldier Porygon"
Ash and the group are continuing on their way just as Pikachu is tired. They take a short break at the Pokémon Center and while there, they discover that the system used to transmit poké balls from center to center is malfunctioning. They end up traveling inside the computer to see what the problem is and find out it is Team Rocket that had gotten into the computer system on a prototype virtual reality pokémon named Porygon. The group is on their own Porygon that isn't a prototype and they are attacked by James' Weezing and Jessie's Arbok. Weezing is defeated by Porygon who mimics Weezing's poison gas attack. They then send their Porygon against the group's Porygon. While fighting the group try to remove the barricades that were setup by Team Rocket. Meanwhile, back at the center Nurse Joy hires someone to install an antivirus program into the network. This program in turn starts chasing both Team Rocket and the group too. Everyone manages to escape on Porygon with a little help from Pikachu by blowing up one of the missiles launched by the program. They get out just barely and they continue on their way.

Episode 39 "Pikachu's Good-bye"
As Ash co is travelling through a forest, they decide to rest. As they are resting, Pikachu sees another Pikachu and chases it. He discovers a meadow were a whole bunch of Pikachu hang out. Ash follows them and watches Pikachu being rejected. Later, one of the Pikachus fall in the river and Pikachu rescues it. Proud of Pikachu's accomplishment, the Pikachus let him in, where Pikachu has the time of his life. By now, Ash is a little worried that Pikachu will just stay. Team Rocket then pops up and captures the Pikachu in a big net. Aftera while, the Pikachus eat away the net, shock TR and they blast off again. Pikachu comes to Ash and Ash runs away and tells Pikachu to stay, but Pikachu decides to stay with Ash and they continue their journey.

Episode 40 "The Battling Eevee Brothers"
As Ashco is traveling through the forest, Pikachu smells something. They follow him to an abandoned Eevee, which has a collar on. It says Stone Town 3:14. Brock says that it is a town at the foot of evolution mountain. Ash uses Dexter to tell him that Eevee evolves into three different kinds of Pokemon, depending on what kind of stone you use. They take Eevee back to it's home and rushes to Mikey, Eevee's owner and he gets angry for bringing Eevee back. Mikey tells them that his 3 brothers are throwing an evolution party for him and Eevee. He says that his three brothers are wondering what he is going to evolve his Eevee into. Meanwhile, on a nearby hill, Team Rocket is planning to make an assult on the party, steal all the Pokemon AND the food, which they succeed at. After being stolen, Misty's Horsea leaves a trail of ink behind and that leads Ashco to Team Rocket. After TR weakend Mikey's Brother's Pokemon, Mikey has Eevee Rage Tackle them and they blast off again. Mikey then tells his brothers that he doesn't want to evolve his Eevee and they tell him that that's okay. Ashco then continues their Pokemon journey.

Episode 41 "Wake up Snorlax!"
As Ahsco is travelling through the forest, they see an old hippie sitting on a rock. He plays some music for them with a Pokéflute and then he asks them for food. But, since they don't have any food, they continue to the next town. They are starving, so they go to the bakey, and to their misfortune, it's all sold out. Ashco takes a rest on a nearby bench, and the mayor comes by and invites them to his house for some grubb. He tells them that the river has stopped flowing and there is a major crop problem. Ashco decides to investigate. Further upstream, they see some thornbushes. Bulbasaur uses Razorleaf and cuts them out. Unfortunately, thats not what the problem was. In a spring, they see a Snorlax blocking the river. As they try to wake it, Team Rocket pops in and does their daily routine. Ashco tells them that Snorlax is blocking the river. TR says that they are gonna capture it. So, they work together to wake up Snorlax. After a few ideas, Jesse thinks that a kiss from a noble Pokémon will wake it up. While Misty tries to find her noble Horsea, Psyduck pops out and gives Snorlax a big, wet one. Misty smacks him and TR comes out with Meowth dressed as a prince. After being kissed by Meowth, Snorlax acts as if he was poisoned. Dexter then tells Ash that Snorlax will only awaken to a Pokéflute, so they run back to the hippie and brings him to Snorlax, he wakes up and walks away. Unfortunately, the river still doesn't flow. More thorns block it. Snorlax starts eating them and the river starts flowing again. Pleased with themselves, Ashco continues their journey.

Episode 42 "Showdown at Dark City"
Ashco reaches an empty looking town called Dark City. A kid rushes out of his house and his mother says that there could be Pokemon Trainers out. Then, 3 kids start throwing rocks at them. Ash has Pikachu shock them and they tumble to the ground. Then, a restraunt owner comes out and stops them. He apologizes for their actions and invited Ashco in for a bite to eat. As they are eating, he tells them that the 2 gyms in Dark City, Yaz and Kaz, are fighting to see who gets to become an official Pokemon League Gym, since an inspector is coming. Then, the two gyms run to eachother in the roads. Yaz gym sends out Scyther, and Kaz sends out Electabuzz. As they are watching the battle, Ascho realizes that thats street fighting, not Pokemon Battling. After the battle a lovely young woman from the Yaz gym comes in and asks them to help her. They go to the Yaz gym and the leader says that Pokemon are only good for making money. Ashco thinks thats a stupid reason and they leave. They come up with a plan to get them to stop fighting. Later, the two gyms come out with their Pokemon and surprisingly, TR is now on the Kaz gym. Asco then carries out their plan to dump ketchup all over them. Scyther and Electabuzz start going crazy and slashing at their masters. Then, a hooded figure comes in and sends out a Chansey and Nurse Joy is revealed. She tells them that their actions are not right to become an OPLG. They beg her to give them another chance and they join forces. Ashco then continues their journey.

Episode 43 "The March of the Exeggutor Squad"
Ashco reaches a town on their journey that has a carnival there. Ash and Brock want to dance, but Misty doesnt feel like it, so she wanders off to check other things out. She sees a magician on his knees begging his worker to stay and that hell pay her soon, but she leaves. Misty says hi and the magician invites her to see some of his tricks. Misy thinks his tricks are really corny, but she wants to help him by being in his show. Ash and Brock see her first debut and they give her a hard time about her suit. After the show, Melvin (the magician) tells Ash and Brock his sad story. His Pokemon, Exeggcute, feels sorry for him as well. Ash sees Exeggcute and he says a comment that offends Exeggcute and Exeggcute puts Ash under hypnosis. Melvin takes advantage of this and takes him into the forest, where he has Ash catch him 90 Exeggutors. Then, the Exeggutors all hypnosis eachother and they go on a stampede toward the carnival. The ringmaster wants to stop them, so he plants a bomb to blow them up. Ash recovers from hypnosis and sends out Charmander to stop most of the Exeggutor. After Charmander is out of breath, Melvin stops the rest of the Exeggutor with his fire trick. After heading back into the forest and saying goobye to Melvin, Charmander evolves into Charmeleon and Ashco continues their Pokemon journey.

Episode 44 "The Problem with Paras"
Ash and his freinds have entered a new town but its so small there isn't even a gym, so Ash decides that they leave the town but Brock says that they are low on potions and heals. So they head into a store to buy some, meanwhile Jesse and James are spying on Ash in co. and were ready to get Pikachu. But Meowth was terribly sick and Jesse and James were going to leave him until a girl, came by and yelled at them for leaving Meowth she then heals Mewoth with a potion. After he is healed not only is Meowth thankful but he falls in love with the girl, while Team Rocket get's scraped in the faces for insulting his love.
Ash in co. enter a old store where they meet a old lady who tries to scare them off, but the woman's grand daughter who happens to be Cassandra the girl that healed Meowth stops her. The gang buys their potions and Cassandra asks Ash if he is a trainer, he says yes and she calls him out to a battle. Cassandra picks a Paras who looks really weak Ash chooses Pikachu, then Paras chickens out from Pikachu just by Pikachu saying hi. Cassandra now explains that her Paras is not confident in himself, but needs him to evolve into a Parasect she explains that when he does will make a new potion to make Pokemon stronger and smarter. So Ash starts to help Paras so he will let his Pokemon lose, Pikachu tries a micro spark which knocks out Paras. Misty says try water Pokemon they are weak against bugs, Ash uses Squirtle who beats Paras with a tiny squirt. Finally he uses Charmeleon but instead he bruatlises Paras and scares him off, not listening to Ash Pikachu knocks him out so Ash then calls Charmeleon back and everyone looks for Paras.
Meowth finds Paras and gets Jesse and James to help it evolve, buy saying that Cassandra will give him half the money so then Team Rocket will be rich. Team Rocket lets Paras fake win against Arbok, Weezing, and Meowth, then when the gang finds Paras alone Team Rocket hiding. Paras wants to fight Pikachu and fake beats Pikachu too, now trying to to make him obey Ash calls out Charmeleon one more time but again he dis-obeys. But this time Paras accidently claws Cahrmeleon in the chest knocking him out, then Paras evolves into Parasect with everyone cheering including Team Rocket. Who is blasted into the air by Charmeleon now awaken, but Parasect puts him to sleep with his spore attack and Ash calls him back. Now as the gang leaves Brock is heart broken cause Cassandra wont go with their journey, then as soon as Ash in co. leave Team Rocket falls in on Caasandra who heals all of them. But when she says know to Meowth staying with her and being the store mascot, the granny finds a Persian who replaces him and Team Rocket leaves by chasing Meowth into the sun set.

Episode 45 "The Song of Jigglypuff"
After leaving the small town Ash in co. start walking into a new town , its called neo town that looks like Las Vegas but everyone is really rude. Ash bumps into a guy who wants to fight him, but a rude Jenny stops it and says that no one sleeps because of all the noises. So then the gang heads into a new forest trying to leave Neo town, meanwhile Team Rocket eneters the same town and ends up in a fight with the same guy that Ash met. Ash in co. walk into a new forest making their way away from Neo town, but they meet a beaten up Team Rocket who wants to catch Pikachu of course. This time they do a rock i'n roll song instead of their motto they all dress up in black, with Jesse and James doing song solos and Arbok and Weezing rolling around in the back. Then after the song they fight Misty send out Starmie who takes out Arbok, Ash's Bulbasaur makes Weezing gas his own masters giving the gang time to escape.
Now trying to find their way to Cinnabar Island but, instead Misty finds a Jiggypuff. Ash calls out Dexter and says Jiggypuffs sing a very heavenly song, Misty wants to hear it so she tries to capture it by sending out Staryu to attack it. But in one hit Jiggypuff cries and Misty stops seeing that Jigglypuff was sad, Misty asks nicely for it to sing it puffs up showing how mad it is. After asking again Jiggypuff says that she can't sing for some reason, so Misty tries to get her voice back Pikachu sings to Ash for an example. Jigglypuff is jealous and trips Pikachu no one sawit except for Pikachu, they try words, helium, water nothing works. Then Brock finds a fruit that heals your vochal chords he says, Jiggypuff's chords are healed and is happy enough to sing for the gang.Team Rocket sneaks in some bushes getting a plan, by taping Jigglypuffs song they will put all the people in Neo town to sleep and steal their Pokemon and money. Now Jigglypuff sings a very heavenly song in fact its so heavnely it put everybody to sleep, Team Rocket falls asleep as well Jiggypuff stops and puffs up cause all of the gang is asleep. Now she grabs a marker and draws a funny face on everyone including Team Rocket, who wakes up later on only to find out that they taped their own snoring.
Ash in co. wash off the marker and try seeing if Pokemon fall asleep during the song, they all do then they try Psyduck who fall asleep with his eyes closed. Now at their last idea Ash in co. go back to town to have Jigglypuff sing for Neo town, Team Rocket in disguise loans them a stage to do it on so their plan still works. Again Jiggypuff sings and again they all go to sleep even Team Rocket who has ear plugs on. Jiggypuff again colors everyone's face but when they all wake up no one is bitter the rest made the town feel better, Meowth, Jesse, and James smile walking out of the town with nothing. Ash in co. leave proud of Jigglypuff but surprised cause she has disappeared, then as they leave Jiggypuff tries to cath up with them in their journey.
