Catch MissingNo.
If you trade with someone in the game, or talk to the guy in Viridaian City who used to block the path. He'll ask if you are in a hurry. Say 'no' and he will show you how to catch a Pokémon. Now, go to Cinnabar Island and SURF up and down the 'right' coast. You will battle the last scheme of Pokémon you battled, you will 'confuse' the game into not knowing what to send out, and it will send out MissingNo. So go and surf along the Cinnabar Island, half in the water and half on the land. You should come across him soon.
(If you catch MissingNo. your game will be glitched and maybe even erased. So be careful!!! If you do look below and see how to unglitch the glitch.)

Catch 'super' Pokémon
Like before talk to the guy in Viridaian City who used to block the path. He'll ask if you are in a hurry. Say 'no' and he will show you how to catch a Pokémon. Now, go to Cinnabar Island and SURF up and down the 'right' coast. You will battle the last scheme of Pokémon you battled, super-high leveled Pokémon, and 'glitched' Pokémon. (Catch a glitched Pokémon and your Hall of Fame will 'automatically' be messed up!)

Duplicate items
To duplicate items, again you need to talk to the guy in Viridian City. Watch him catch the Weedle. FLY or SURF to Cinnabar Island or Seafoam Island. Defeat a glitched Pokémon, and your 6th itme will be at 9 (its actually 119) or (triangle)9 (which is 129!) You can duplicate PP Up, HP Up, Carbos, Rare Candies, Irons, etc. to pump up your Pokémon (though I don't recommend Rare Candies, you should always use EXP in battle.) Also, you can duplicate the Master Ball! Now, you can catch all 4 rare/high level Pokémon, and the level 100+ Pokémon found there!

Unglitch the glitch
Hey, did catch MissingNo. and now he's messing with your sounds and graphics? Try this: Press start, go to 'Pokémon', look at MissingNo.'s stats, look at a different (non-glitched) Pokémon's stats. There. Tah-dah! You've done it! MissingNo. won't dare mess with you now! (Or, at least not until you switch you Pokémon around in any way!) However, beating the game with MissingNo. in your party will still mess up your stats.

Algebra trouble? Can't get polygons?
Having trouble with the slots? If you REALLY want to buy a Porygon, buy a REALLY expensive item, duplicate it, and sell all but one (1). Get coins, and, if you need to, duplicate your highly expensive item again for more money, and, thusly, more coins. Now, you can afford that expensive Porygon!

Catch Pokémon elsewhere
Go to Cinnabar Island or Seafoam Island. SURF up and down the right side of the beach. You will battle whatever set of Pokémon you battled last.

Safari Zone Pokémon caught with Ultra Balls!
Battle in the SAFARI ZONE, then try the Catch Pokémon elsewhere code. You can catch SAFARI ZONE Pokémon with Ultra Balls!

Higher catch rate
When a Poké/Great/Ultra Ball catches a Pokémon (closes), press and hold the 'A' button.

100% catch rate
When it says, "NAME threw a ***** Ball!", press and hold "UP" and "B". However, the ball must close around the Pokémon for it to work!

Can't catch a Ditto?
Use Magikarp; when Ditto TRANFORMs, it will be an easy catch!

Cut grass
Tired of fighting Pokémon? You can cut the grass with CUT, and the Pokémon won't attack you!

99 Poké Balls, 99 Ultra Balls, 99 Ultra Balls
"I bought 99 Ultra balls. Then , I was playing around and bought 99 more. Afterwards, I had had two sets of 99 Ultra balls. Apparently, you can by more than 100 Poké/Great/Ultra balls!"

Find all Five Moon Stones
There are only five Moon Stones around the game. Below is a list of where they are.
1) The upper-left hand corner of the first floor of Mt. Moon
2) Right before the fossils in Mt. Moon
3) Before you enter the house that leads to Virdian Forest, use cut on one of the bushes to the right. One of the Pokeballs is a Moon Stone.
4) The basement of Celadon Game Corner
5) Enter the Cinnabar Mashion. There will be boxes to the left and to the right of you. Check the fifth box to the right.

Free Coins
If you move around in the Celadon Game Corner and press "A" then you will find coins lying around on the floor.

Get your Diploma
To get your Diploma in the game, capture all 150 Pokemon in the game, and then go to the Game Freak Building and talk to the guy on the second floor, that is not on a computer, he will then give you your diploma. In the Japanese game the guy gives you Mew the 151st Pokemon.

Fish in Misty's Gym
To fish in Misty's Gym, just face one of the statues and pull out the old rod, and it will be just like you are fishing in water

Bike Music without Riding
When your in a cave like Seafoam Island or Mount Moon, start riding your bike and fall down a hole. You won't be riding on a bicycyle but the bicycle song still plays.

SUPER POWERED RYDON: (Thanks for Ash5980@aol.com for testing this for me.)

1)Go to viridian city and go to the guy who tells you how to catch a weedle. When he asks you are you busy say "Yes", then talk to him again and say, "No". After he shows you how to catch a pokemon, fly to cinnibar island.

2)Surf along the right side of cinnibar so that you are half in the water and half on land. Then fight and capture a "MISSINGNO." (level 138 works the best. level 138 are actually stronger than level 146)

3)Go to your box on the Pc and deposit one of you pokemon and then hit "Withdrraw Pokemon" choose "MISSIGNO." (like have 6 pokemon with you so "MISSIGNO." is tranported to a box and then deposit one and continue code.)(BUT DON'T ACTUALLY WITHRAW HIM) if you tap the button once you will have a menu saying "Withdraw, Stats, and Cancel" Look at the stats twice before withdrawing again.

NOTE: now you can teach your new "MISSINGNO./Rydon" all of Rydons attacks, tms, and the game WON'T glitch durring battle. Also, Rydon will still know water gun water gun and sky attack. Which can be taught normally. (I'm not sure if you have to give "MISSINGO." , a grass pokemon nickname.)

Do more damage
When attacking, hold the 'A' button when the attack is begin done. (This code has not been proved to work... Yet. I you get it to work tell me how you did it and I will test it.)
