Chapter 5: Mt. Moon

I leave the city and find a small pokémart out in the woods on the small path to Mt. Moon. I go inside to restock on supplys.
"Hello," said the person at the desk.
"Hi," I say, "I would like two pokeballs, some iced tea...."
My list went on for awhile and ended with a ..
"And three potions you know, just in case..."
" We're having a sale on tm's. Would you like to purchase one?"said the person.
"No thanks, I kinda short on cash." I say feeling slightly embarassed.
"Good luck kid," said the person as I step out the door.
It was only a short walk to the mountain. There was a small passage through the mountain, that was the route I was taking.
"Charmander, light the way for me," I say.
"Char," says the cute little fire pokemon.
I walk into the cave. After about a half hour, I call back Charmander, who was becoming tired.
Out of nowhere, a small pink pokemon zips out of one of the passages, being chased by Zubats. The Zubats successfully corner the pink pokemon.
I whip out my poketron."Zubat..." it says.
"No not that," that I say and point the pokétron again."Clefairy a....."
I shut pokétron."So thats a Clefairy, I'll catch it."
Clefairy is a very rare pokémon. I can't let this oppertunity escape.
"Seel, Weedle!" I call, "Seel, scare away the Zubats with Arora Beam!"
All the bat pokemon flew away." Good, Weedle, get Clefairy with Stringshot!"
Clefairy was still able to move, just slower."Poison sting!"
This was to easy, I was whomping Clefairy."Pokeball," I shouted.
In three seconds, I had a Clefairy."Yippy!""Weeeeedle""Seel"
My pokemon and I were obviously happy.
"Clefairy!" I call throwing Clefairys pokeball.
I use a potion on Clefairy. It looks much better.
"Clefairy, you know Mt. Moon a ton better than me, can you show me the way out at the other end?"" Clefaaaaairy" it said.
It began to walk. I followed. I picked up a shiney rock I found on the ground. It looked cool, so I put it in my pack.(little did I know that rock was more important then I thought.)
All the sudden I saw a movement. Out of the shadows popped the guy I had fought in Viridean forest.
" A ha! I knew you would come this way eventually! I challenge you to a rematch! I shall not loose!" he said.
" Don't you owe me that Mankey from last time, it was winner keeps all!"
"I would give it to you, but I don't have it anymore."he said rudely "ooo, a rare Clefairy! Hand it over and I won't pulverize you!" he said in a wickedtone.
"Never! Alright, lets battle," I say,"go Charmander!"
"Pokeball go!" called my foe.
A Primeape popped out. So he didn't get rid of it. It evolved!
"Primeape fury swipes!" called the man.
Charmander sat down. I had forgottn it was tired from the walk! It couldn't battle!
"Sending a tired pokemon into battle was a bad move kid," said the man.
"Charmander, return, go Weedle!" I yell. Weedle creeps out from behind me.
" Primeape, megapunch!"It hit Weedle really hard, Weedle rolled back to me.
" Are you okay?" I ask."Weee..." it says.
Weedle began to glow but not the way Charmander did in the gym.This was it. The glow got brighter until I couldn't see Weedle anymore and it turned to a silvery light. I could now see a shape again. One that was molding and changing. Then it stopped. The light died. What was in front of me wasn'tWeedle.
"You did it!"
"Kakuna," it said tonelessly.I ran up and hugged it.
"Okay, let's show that monkey!"
"What! So it evolved, no matter, Primeape,Mega punch!"
"Prrrrimeape!" ot said.
"Harden!" I shout happily.
When Primeape hits, it pulls back, sticks it's hand in it's mouth and began crying.
"What this can't be! You've won again!" said the man," Primeape, return!
We'll meet again!" he said as he ran away.
I set Kakuna in my pack so it could be with me through the rest of the Mountain. Seel had been out the whole battle and hadn't made a sound.
"Seel, return!" I called, "Clefairy, guide the way."
"Clefairy" it said looking curiously at Kukuna.
Clefairy got me out of the cave quickly. I was preparing to squint from the light when I exited, but it was dark. Streched out before me was Cerulean city. I was to tired to walk into town though. I pulled out my sleeping bag. I slept with Clefairy like it was a stuffed animal, and I left Weed, I mean Kukuna in my back pack.

Chapter 6: Two new friends and more!!!

I woke up late the next morning. It was like 10:00! I had to get moving.
My new Pokémon, Cleafairy, was already awake and talking to Kukuna.I was so happy when Kukuna evolved, I couldn't wait for it to become Beedrill. I didn't know how I could train a pokémon that only knew Harden. It would be a challenge, but I know I can do it. I called back Clefairy and picked up Kukuna.
I looked up data on pokétron about gym leaders and their badges.
Especially about the Ceruelean leader, Misty, a water trainer. I didn't have anyone to use! Charmander would be two second toast, Harden I can't say would help much, and Seel, though it proved it's worth in Pewter city..... well....water +water=BAD for Seel. I had Clefairy. If I was in a pinch I could use Clefairy, but I didn't know it's attacks and even if I did, I'd feel un comfortable using a pokémon I've never used before, even more so in a gym. The only way was to catch more pokemon.
By this time I was in town I walked into the pokémon center.
"Do you know a good place to catch pokémon for begining trainers?" I asked
Joy(nurse, if you don't know!).
"Sure, head just North of the city, there are lots of easy catches there" she said kindly."Great, thanks alot!" I call running excitedly out the door.
I arrive at a bushy area. This must be it. I push aside the bushes and see two pokémon standing together. They are of different types and kinds and they played like there was no difference. One of them I identified as Gloom.
Perfect! A grass type! Something I could use on Misty.
I pulled out pokétron to identify the other..
" Abra, a Pyschic pokemon. The type Pyschic gives it a definate edge over...."
"Blah,Blah"I mumble. I was gonna feel bad breaking them up.
"Charmander!" I say silently."Mander" it wispered already knowing it's job.
"Ember attack the Gloom."
I was feelng worse about doing this Abra and Gloom looked so peaceful.....
"Gloom!" cried Gloom releasing some kind of gas.
When I could see again, I saw Charmander running around covering it's nose and it's eyes tearing. Gloom was badly hurt by the ember."Pokéball!"
Gloom was caught. But this time I wasn't happy. Abra was sitting on the ground crying."You can come with me, you'll get to be with Gloom that way."
"Abra..." it said sadly.
Then as if it were it's ony choice, it walked up to me pulled an empty pokéball from my pocket and dropped it on it's own head. I felt awful. I had to make it up to both my new pokemon somehow....
I went to the pokémon center to heal Gloom. It only took a minute. Joy recognized me and asked...."Did you catch anything?""Sorta... I know!"
"What..." asked Joy. I didn't have time to answer. I was out the door.
I went to the spot I had caught Abra and Gloom. I wasn't going to release them, I just wanted to train them here and gain their friendship. I let them out of their pokéballs.
"Look, I don't want this to be hard, I want to be your friend. Please join me. Your both great pokémon..." I said and cut myself off.
The two talked to eachother..."Gloom,Gloo""Abra""Gloooooom?""Abra, Abra."
Then they looked at me and nodded."Thanks you guys." I said.
I trained hard. In the middle I called out Clefairy and trained it too, because I heard from poketron that Misty usually does three on three. I had my three. During the training, Gloom even aquired a new attack! After four hours of intense training I knew it was time. I walked followed by the line of pokémon I planned to use. The three of them looked nervous. They knew it was time too.
"The first battle is the hardest, Iknow you guys have got the power in you to win," I said like I actually was a wise trainer. I stepped into the water filled room."Misty, I challenge you to a match!"
