Chapter 1: The Advenure Begins!!!

It was the day I was to recieve my starting pokemon. I flowed with joy. I couldn't have waited another day. I was dressed in causual clothes. Just jeans and a light shirt. I was pretty tall for my age. This was not unusual for in my town there are many tall kids. I have long black hair that I wear up in a high pony tail. Always a pony tail.
I was about half way to the lab when I saw three Ratattas scurrying about in a berry bush. I stopped to watch them and I had an unusual erge to kick one of them. I found this very strange since I love pokémon and would never want to hurt them. I decided I was just excited and continued on my way.
The we decide a starting pokemon in my town, Burgundy, is very different than other towns. We have a huge machine that looks a lot like a lottery machine, with pokeballs in it. The balls bounce around inside. When you press a button a pokéball pops out. I was sure I would get the best one!
I arive at the lab. " Hi Lielie" said the professor.
I didn't like that he called me "Lielie". Only my close friends call me that and the professor was nice, but not a friend."Please, call me Liegris."
I hated my name, but I had grown used to it.
" Very well, Liegris, it's your turn to recieve a pokémon! You're just in time!" said the professor.
" Great," I said happily as I reach over to press the big yellow button.
I punch the button really hard. The machine rumbles and a pokéball pops out. I throw the ball.
"Go whatever!" I call realizing that that sounded really stupid.
To my disapointment the almost worst thing pops out....a Weedle.
The professor looked disappointed too. I think he favored me.
"...All right you may take your pokémon to get to know them and learn their attacks, when you are ready, you may head west to viridean forest," called the professor.
I looked sadly at Weedle. I picked it up and carried out to the back of the lab wondering what sort of pathetic attack it knew. I do know it has poison sting...LAME!
I stepped outside. I set Weedle on the ground and watched it wiggle around pathetically."Preeeedle" it said.
" Okay Weedle poison sting that tree!" I exclamed half hoping Weedle would be stronger than it looked. I shouldn't have hoped.
"WEEEEEdle," it said as it shot head first toward the tree.
It's head spike glistened. It hit the tree really hard and.... got it's spike stuck in the bark. Everyone looked over at Weedle and started laughing.
"Uh" I groaned
"weedle weedle WEEDLE!" it said as it wiggled back and forth hopelessly.
I walked over to Weedle and grabbed it by it's tail. I leaned back and put all my weight into it."POP!"
Weedle flew backwards out of the tree and I fell back into a puddle. My jeans were soaked through. The laughter grew.
"Weedle return....NOW!", I yelled furiosly "I'm leaving now,...I'll prove I can catch a pokémon without a pokémon!"
With that in mind I headed for Viridean forest. It was a short walk. It only took maybe a half hour. took a step into the forest, still angrey at weedle. I walked until I was tired and then sat down for a rest. I was upset I hadn't seen a pokémon. Even a weak one! Nothing be worse than weedle!
Suddenly a Charmander hopped out of a bush and started scratching me.
"Charmander!" It hollard with triumph.
It's scratching was beginning to hurtI tried to run, But I couldn't move. I was terrorfied and I didn't know what to do."Char,Char.... MANDER!"
Weedles pokeball dropped from my pack. It opened. Weedle looked at me.
"Silly Weedle! Run away! You'll only get hurt!" I said for the first time seeing I actually cared for Weedle. This suprised me! I thought I hated weedle. My shirt sleeves were shreaded and my hair was totally messed up. I must have looked very different to Weedle. Weedle turned to face charmander.
" You'll get hurt! Leave now! I'm fine!" I said weakly.
Weedle ignored me. It used poison sting catching Charmander by suprise. An angry Charmander turned to face off against my weedle. Charmanders tail flared. Then it realised it was only a weedle. It and Charmander started laughing. Weedle shot forward again with poison sting."Chaaaar!" it screamed.
It stared at weedle, this time as a serious aponent."Char char CHAR!" it wailed.
"Preeeeeedle!" weedle called back." CHAAAAARMANDER!"
Charmander charged toward Weedle. Weedle hopped up over charmanders head and used string shot from the air. Charmander got stuck in the string. When Weedle landed it was still spraying string. When it finally stopped. I reached my trembling hand down to a pokeball."Go Pokéball!" I said.
The ball bounced around and the string shotted Charmander popped out agian.
Now Charmander was completely imoble. Weedle used poison sting one last time.
Then it winked at me. I knew it was the right time."Pokéball go..again."
The ball wiggled a lot, but this timeCharmander was caught.
" I caught my first pokémon!" I said with glee. But Weedle looked disappointed.
"Huh? Oh...we caught it." Weedle looked up at me.
"Together. You were awsome... I'm sorry. I...I... Didn't know you could do that...you forgive me?...""Weee" it smiled."Good," I said, "hop up!"
Weedle got up on my shoulders and we continued on our way.

A new poképal on the team!

I decided to stop and clean the string off charmander."Charmander!" I call.
Charmander pops out. It looks very unhappy covered in the string. I sat down next to it and tried to touch it. It pulled away."It's okay..." I say."Char?"
Charmander looked nervous. Maybe it had had a bad experience with a past trainer.
I touched it. I scratched it's head a little bit."Char" it said happily.
I started to work at the string. It was sticking to my hands and I was beginning to get frustrated. I pulled a slightly damp wash cloth out of my bag and tried using that. It was starting to work when.
"Charmander!" Charmander screamed.It wacked my hand away.
" I knew you didn't like water, but I thought a little would be okay," I said
"I'm sorry."
"Mander" it said as it picked up the fallen wash cloth in it's mouth and handed it to me.
"Oh, I just suprised you with the cloth, now it's okay right? You won't get mad if I use it?" I asked."Char!" it said nodding.
The string came off quickly. I was ready to go.
Just then a strange man hopped out of a bush."Give me your pokémon!" he yelled.
"Are you from team rocket, cause if you are there is no way I'm going to give you my pokémon!" I say.
" No, I'm not from team rocket, but I do intend to take your pokémon! Hand them over!"
"These are my only pokémon," I say pointing down at Charmander and Weedle, "and I love them! You can't have them!"
"Thats it? Oh well, I was ordered to take what I find. I challenge you to a pokémon battle, 2 on 2, winner takes all!" He said.
" But I only just started training! I'm not ready!" I said hopelessly.
"To bad! Okay go....Mankey!" he called."Ummm... Go Charmander!"
"Char!" Charmander growled."Mankey, karate chop!"
Mankey ran forward and hit Charmander on the head really hard. Charmander fell forward."Mander!" it screamed in pain."Ha, to easy!" said the man.
" It's not over yet!" I said.Charmander got up shakily.
"Charmander, ember!" I hollar."Char, char, char...MANDER"
Mankey gets hit lightly and backs away cautiously."Charmander, skull bash!"
Charmaders don't usually learn skull bash, but I knew this one did. That was the charge attack it tried to use on Weedle before I caught it.
Charmander charged at mankey with it's head lowered. When it was close to mankey it lifted it's head nailing Mankey right in the stomache. Mankey flew up in the air and landed hard on it's back."Char!" it called triumphantly.
"Finish it charmander! Scratch!"
" Mankey! Return." mankey is sucked into it's pokéball.
"Go Seel!" called the man apposing me.
Seel is a water type. I know I must call back Charmander.
"Charmander, return! Weedle, your up! I say."Seel Arora Beam!"
"Seel" it says, but turns it's back on weedle."Fight now! You stupid pokémon!"
"Seel," it said shaking it's head vigorously.
The man pulled out a whip and hit seel with it hard.
" You must pay! You will obey!" he said.
" Hey, " I say "it's not Seel's fault it has a sleezeball for a trainer!"
"Weedle?" said Weedle curiously.
" Your seel refuses to fight! I win!" I say happily..,"winner takes all, hand over your pokéballs!"
"Stupid seel!" said the man as he kicked seel. Seel hit the ground looked at the man and started to cry."I'm leaving" said the man as he ran off still with his Mankey.
" Don't cry, Seel, I'll take care of you."
"Seel?" it said and hopped up into my out stretched arms.
"Listen you three", I said to my pokemon.They all looked up at me.
"Get in your pokeballs now. I need to get to Pewter city. Battling that guy took up time, and now I've got to hurry!" I say anxiously."Char!" "Weeedle"
"Seel, seel!"They each call their name as they hop into their pokéballs." Good."
I start to jog. I stop, realizing I had not yet changed my "char-shreaded" shirt. I took out a new shirt from my pack and switched it with the old one.
" That's one good shirt down already," I mumble and continue on.
I begin to jog again. I see a light and what looks like a clearing. I hope it's Pewter city because it's getting late and I'd love to spend my first night in the pokémon center.
I continue to follow the light until I can see the city for sure. I was happy to know it was Pewter and not some little village. I pick up my pace and head for the city.
