| This is my kitty cat, Pooh. Actually, his whole name is Pooh Juan Danger Love, but that's another story. We adopted him in 1993, when he was 1 or 2, and years later he is about 7 or 8 years old. I'm his human, he's my cat, we're made for each other, and I love him more every day. Here's a close of Pooh, as he was sniffing the camera lense. He's very photogenic, don't 'ya think? And just look at those eyes. :) Taken this Summer 99.  This is Pooh just strolling through the kitchen in Summer 98, so he was about 6 or 7. He's a very dignified gentleman kitty, and this shows off his well-kept coat and markings, and distinguished whiskers.  However, Pooh also can get pretty hyper at times, and here you can see him in one of his usual spots on our tile floor, which he likes because it keeps him cool. He's calming down after galloping around the house, but is still a bit ruffled up.  Pooh has many duties around the house, such as getting fur all over the furniture, chasing my little sister, sending us off to school and work and generally supervising the going-ons of the family. However, his favorite thing is just to hang out. This is Pooh in our rocking chair in Summer 98.  This is Pooh stalking around the house like the vicious hunter he is (really! he is! honestly!)...this time he's probably stalking the camera... that or a bird in the window. This was taken in 94, when he was about 1 or 2, not too long after we adopted him.  Here's my sweet kitty cat playing around on Christmas morning in either 93 or 94 probably 93, not long after we adopted him. As you can see, he's having a lovely time playing with his new catnip candy cane toy. What a sweetheart! :)  Ah yes, still Christmas morning. I think this is a lovely profile of Pooh, showing the edge of a very youthful, curious, innocent look on his face as he takes a break from playing with his new toy. Santa was good to this good little kitty!  Pooh is a very memorable cat, but this picture, taken in 94 embodies one of my fondest images of him. You know that everything is right in the world when Pooh is smiling up at you from his very relaxed stretched out position propped up on one paw as usual. This shows of his handsome markings, happy smile, shining eyes, and perky ears. How can you resist such a darling? :)  Yet another adorable smile from the most wonderful kitty I know. :) Here's Pooh in 94, sitting at attention posing for the camera with a happy, bright-eyed smile. It's times like these that I can't get enough of. :)  Despite what he'd like you to think, behind this tough, muscular exterior is a real sweetheart. Pooh is really a lover, not a fighter, and is always there for me with some love and a cuddle. This is one of those sweet moments (shh, don't tell him it's up here!) with Pooh giving me a kiss. What a sweetie, and all that love, just for me. :)  Oops, time to go! Here's Pooh making a swift exit out of his kitty door that we cut for him going into the basement. Bye for now!  |
