As a child, Link bought a pod of beans, than planted them in one of the many fertile squares of ground cultivated in Hyrule. A tiny plant sprouted up, so Link played the Song of Storms to water it. with the little rain shower came some pixie power when the watered plant blossomed with fairies. Link revisited the plant years later and found that it had grown into a large, leafy hovering shrub. Intrigued, he journeyed to the past to buy more beans for more magical harvests.

Magic Beans can be bought in Zora's River from the fat guy wuth the pouch.
The prices are:
1st bean = 10 rupees
2nd bean = 20 rupees
3rd bean = 30 rupees
4th bean = 40 rupees
5th bean = 50 rupees
6th bean = 60 rupees
7th bean = 70 rupees
8th bean = 80 rupees
9th bean = 90 rupees
10th+ beans = 100 rupees

The locations of soft soil patches to plant beans in are:
(Note: Before putting a bean into the soil patch, put some bugs in there. If you do, a Gold Skultula will pop out. You can only make one Skulltula come out per patch.)

**Lost woods**
Enter the Lost Woods in Kokiri Forest. Upon entering, head left. Next, pass the Skull Kid and go left again. It will be on the ledge you are standing on.

**Kokiri Forest**
This soft soil patch is next to the Kokiri Shop. Plant one there, nad as an adult, you canget the items on the ledge.

**Lost Woods**
Go right, left, right, left, then left. You will find it in this secret grotto.

**Death Mountain Trail**
This soil patch is near the entrance to Dodongo's Cavern. Plant a bean here and you won't have to walk all the way up Death Mountain.

**Death Mountain Cavern**
Play the Bolero of Fire and you'll find the soil patch near your point of arrival. If you plant this one, you can get the piece of heart on top of the crater.

**Kakariko Graveyard**
Plant the bean on the upper rigde of the cemetary. retuning here as an adult, you can get the Piece of heart in the box on the ledge.

**Zora's River**
This one's obvious, it's right next to the guy who sell magic beans.

**Lake Hylia**
You can plant a bean next to the Lakeside Labratory. Coming back as an adult, you can get to the top of the lab.

**Gerudo Valley**
Grab the nearby chicken and glide down to the ledge with the cow. Near the cow, you will find you soil patch.

**Desert Colassus**
The last soft soil patch is right to the left of the enterance of the Spirit Temple. Planting this will allow you to get the Piece of Heart in top of the plateau as an adult.
