Charles Wright grew up in the Chicagoland area. After discovering his love for wrestling, he made it up the ranks and debuted as Papa Shango in the WWF in 1992. He went on to perform several other gimmicks, notable Kama Mustafa, before becoming the ever-popular Godfather. Hailing from the Red Light District and the personification of a 1970's pimp, The Godfather wears jewelry, neon clothes, and is always accompanied by a train of ho's which he picks up in every city. Due to this, he is incredibly over with the fans. Godfather himself has excellent wrestling capability but has a tendency to showboat in the ring. His only other weakness would have to be his weak endurance. Otherwise, this man is a very capable wrestler who can keep his focus on the match during the fight and on the ho's the rest of the time. He was even able to win the Intercontinetal championship at one point. This fun-loving WWF wrestler is a solid mid-carder than has had much success in the past and much more to come.
