Very little is known of Gangrel. He came to the WWF and feuded with Edge, before joining him and Edge's brother Christian to form The Brood. This powerful trio was characterized by giving their opponent a bloodbath after the lights went out. Gangrel, the epitome of a vampire, has sharp fangs and sips from a goblet of red liquid, presumably blood, before his matches. Gangrel led the trio into joining the Ministry of Darkness, but when Christian was punished for failing to carry out Undertaker's orders, he and Edge chose to support their friend over their master. When Edge and Christian became more popular than Gangrel, Gangrel immediately turned on the two and embarked on a singles career. Gangrel tutored the Hardy Boyz to form the New Brood before they broke away from him as well, and Gangrel chose to embark on his quest in the WWF alone. However, he was joined by Luna, who in real life, is close with Gangrel. The two set off together to attempt to acheive the success that Gangrel had enjoyed as the leader of the Brood. Luna, however, was fired from the WWF after an altercation with a producer backstage, and Gangrel once again set off alone.
