Known as your new party host, the Ayatollah of Rock n' Roll-a, the Y2J problem, among others, Chris Jericho has arrived in the WWF. Chris Jericho believes that he is here to save the WWF, a job which he believes no other wrestler has been able to do. With his charisma, wrestling skill, and athleticism, his initial claims may be taken seriously by some. After a gigantic debut in Chicago on a live RAW, Jericho's controversial presence was felt around the entire WWF. After spending time in WCW, Chris Jericho realized that he could never reach his potential in the organization. Disputes over angles and communication problems affected his decision to jump ship to the World Wrestling Federation, where his Attitude would fit right in with the rest of the WWF Superstars. Chris Jericho arrived in the WWF as one of the most anticipated superstars to ever hit the ring, with a great crowd reaction considering his initial push as a heel. After brief feuds with The Rock, Road Dogg, and Ken Shamrock, Jericho became involved with Chyna. At Armageddon 1999, Chris Jericho finally accomplished his goal and won his first ever WWF gold.
