"Trained by Stu Hart in the Dungeon before his December 1985 debut with Stampede. He patterned his style after his childhood hero, Dynamite Kid, who he would mention in his victory speech after winning his first world championship. After his run in Canada, he enrolled in the NJPW training dojo before debuting there as the masked Pegasus Kid. After losing his mask in a match to Jushin Lyger, he became known as Wild Pegasus. His series of matches with Lyger in Japan are absolutely legendary, which saw them trade the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Title back and forth. He made appearances in WCW in 1993 and '94 as a midcard singles wrestler, eventually embarking on a quest for tag team glory with mat specialist Bobby Eaton. His first big push in the United States came in ECW, where he was a part of the original Triple Threat with Shane Douglas and Dean Malenko. He earned the "Crippler" nickname by breaking Sabu's neck."
(From IGN Wrestling).
The Crippler Chris Benoit made a name for himself in the WCW and ECW before coming to the WWF alongside three other WCW "radicals." These young superstars who were never utilized by the WCW to the full extent of their talent, were made instant stars and heels in the WWF. After fighting and losing to get a contract with the WWF, they sold out to Triple H and Stephanie in order to gain WWF contracts. United with DeGeneration X, this group of Radicals will undoubtedly make a huge impact in the WWF in the near future.
