The Sims Players With No Expansion Packs: The Basic Plain Jane Tips |
The basic tips for The Sims is the link entitled The Basics. My tips for people with the original plain Sims is to get an expansion pack. Even the people who buy The Deluxe Edition end up better because of all the new objects: Crystal balls, genie lamps, robots, guitars, the grim reaper, the sad clown; all make the game more interesting. But if you really insist on keeping things simple, here are some things to keep watch on (All are explained in The Basics): Disasters, Deaths, Personality, Romance, Motives, Houses, Jobs, A Day in the Life, Problems and Troubleshoots, and Miselanious. |
For Those Who Play In 3D... |
The Sims 2 is all the more complex. Not only is everything 3D, It's become more and more like real life. With so much going on at the same time, I suggest starting with 2 adults. They are easier to control and are good for learning the basics (For more Tips and Tricks, Click The Sims 2). After you learn the ways of the game, do what you have to do to get kids. The Sims 2 is the next best thing besides sliced bread! If you really want to start off on the right foot, start by getting The Sims 2 first. |
