| Fun to Grow, at Applewood Village Shopping Plaza, hosted a Yo-Yo Competition and demonstration featuring Fast Eddy McDonald, two-time Guinness World record holder on Thursday, May 13. Fast Eddy wowed the eager crowd with a variety of impressive tricks before beginning the competition. About 50 participants paid a S2.00 registration fee to enter, with all proceeds donated to the M.S. Society of Mississauga. The Grand Prize of a S100.00 Registered Education Fund (RESP) went to winner, 14 year old, Micheal Francis, who impressed even Fast Eddy himself. Congratulations Micheal and thank you to Donna Klacza, owner of Fun To Grow On, for a wonderful afternoon of fun and community involvement, benefiting an extremely worthy cause. And hey, Fast Eddy, those World Records may be in jeopardy, there’s a new kid in town, and his name is Marvelous Micheal Francis. |
