The Justice Union members stood firm in their stances, ready to take on the evilness that had overtaken Ultraman.

“Be careful, there’s no telling what he might do…” cautioned the Patriotess.

And she was exactly right. Like a light-speeding bullet, Ultraman dove toward the six, planted members. For a split second none of them could see the oncoming attack, but the Blurr and the Panther soon discovered what had happened. They each heard a vociferous pummeling noise beside them, which is where the Patriotess would have resided. They quickly turned their heads to see that Ultraman had lunged himself like a catapult into the stout shield of the Patriotess, who had thankfully maneuvered quickly. She planted her feet into the ground as they became embedded into the solid concrete, but alas, Ultraman proved too vigorous. Her shield had given way, and she was propelled backwards like a cannonball into the sunset, but not before exhaling a sudden grunt of pain.

Ultraman, in his black suit, then maneuvered behind the line and back into the air above them with a piercing, furious look upon his face. The Blurr looked at the Panther in perplexity.

“Does he seem…a little angry to you?” He asked him. The Panther replied, “Just a little.”

Justice Union #1: Episode 2 - "Reprisal"

The next moment, Eaglet Girl and Electrolight took off into the sky after the manipulated hero.

“Looks like we’ll have to go all out this time,” said Eaglet Girl.

“Alright then,” Electrolight agreed. The luminous heroine then proceeded to charge her power rings with electrical energy. Large bolts of yellow lightning exuberated from the rings and began to flow together in a converging manner.

With sparks flying, the bolts shaped together to form a gargantuan mallet overhead. “I wish I didn’t have to do this, Ultraman, but you leave me no other choice,” she explained.

Then with great force, her electrically induced mallet came plunging down upon Ultraman’s entire body, impelling it towards the rock-hard ground below. With a crash and a rumble, he collided into a building, crumbling it to miniscule portions. Electrolight de-energized her power rings.

Eaglet Girl then noted, “You know he can’t be beaten that easily.”

Electrolight looked toward Eaglet Girl with a straight face and replied, “Well at least it might knock some sense into him.” She was right; Eaglet Girl of course. Ultraman could not have been defeated so easily.

As the dust settled and all was quiet, a sudden burst of red rays emitted from the destructed building, blowing chunks of debris without direction, and then perforating against Electrolight’s skin. From there, she was blasted in the stomach, and weakened in her stance, and following was her inevitable collapse toward the ground, all while a small billow of smoke perfumed the air as she passed.

Witnessing these events, Eaglet Girl rushed toward Ultraman with hawk-like speed and defiance. Her wings were spread, as she was ready to strike. Some feet away, she drew her arm back in a readied position to punch. Ultraman hovered in the air in silence, with arms folded. Letting out a loud battle cry, Eaglet Girl let sail her poised fist, straight into the face of the unailing Ultraman. With great force, she thrust Ultraman’s head back, causing him to unfold his arms as he flinched. She proceeded to wail on his face with repeated uppercuts and blows, continually knocking him back in a brutish manner.

In a final blow, Eaglet Girl raised her elbow back, and sank the sharpest point into Ultraman’s stomach, providing enough momentum to thrust him into the rooftop of the building below him. Resting her arms, she halted to a rest, knowing that Ultraman could strike back at any given time. And her knowledge preceded her, almost too quickly, as Ultraman bolted out of the very hole he had been thrust through just seconds before.

Gasping at the sudden recuperation, Eaglet Girl braced herself for the worst. She held up her arms in an X-like formation to defend. With great speed, Ultraman’s fist of steel impacted against the defensive shield Eaglet Girl had made. And with this one and only blow, he broke the barrier.

“Aaaaah!” Eaglet Girl cried as pain ripped through her muscles. She had left herself open to attack, and Ultraman decided to return the favors Eaglet Girl had granted him.

The blows of the man whose fists shot like trains out of a tunnel buffeted Eaglet Girl in extremely rapid succession. Strike after strike, the heroine tried to withstand. Savagely, her face was being bruised and beaten as the hits kept coming. Finally, Ultraman ended the brawl, as Eaglet Girl lied before him in the air, with lifeless arms hanging at her sides.

After a brief moment of rest, he then raised his entire leg up to an unusually elevated height, and forced it down upon the lowered head of the battered Eaglet Girl. Like a bowling ball falling from a 10-story building, Ultraman’s foot had struck, propelling the now-unconscious heroine down to meet the rough textures of the street below. A large thud bellowed through the area as Eaglet Girl bounced off the ground, and landed once again motionless, in deep and utter silence.

Ultraman folded his arms in triumph as he watched the scene, but there was no change in his facial expression. Something seemed odd about him, as Blue Panther thought in his mind. He seemed to show no emotion at all. Ultraman stood, unusually silent in the air, in a fixed state, until something had taken hold of him. His head was forced back as he raised his arms to his neck. And there he found coiled around it was the snake-like lash of Shriek’s dark, resilient whip.
