| Rebellion started as a taxi drove pulled up the arena. Commissioner Mick Foley and Lt. Commissioner Debra stepped out of the cab and they walked to the arena. This was followed by a long promo shown featuring the competitors for the Main Event match. Finally, the pyrotechnics started up, and Jim Ross introduced the event. Opening Segment Mick Foley and Debra came out to the ring together to begin the show. Foley got on the mic and discussed the situation with Triple H, explaining that he wanted to be in the Main Event for the tonight. Foley told the fans that he ordered Triple H out of the Main Event for Rebellion. He began to make fun of Triple H, and then got his usual huge cheap pop from the crowd by saying "RIGHT HERE IN SHEFFIELD ENGLAND!" Debra then took control on the mic and announced that a no Disqualification/Count Out stipulation would be added to the Main Event match. This announcement brought out the WWF Champion Kurt Angle. Kurt was without a doubt displeased with the stipulation added to his WWF Title Match. He grabbed a mic and started to talk about the Fatal Fourway and said it was a disgrace. He then went on to make fun of the English and that they have won hardly any Olympic Gold medals. Angle then told Foley that “Us legends need to stick together.” A huge “Asshole” chant fell over the crowd directed toward Angle and all three then left the ring. Angle argued with them about the decision as they walked to the backstage area. Match 1: Tag Team Table Match Dudley Boyz vs. T&A vs. Edge & Christian Test and Albert came to the ring first, along with Trish Status. Next, Edge and Christian’s music hit and they made their way to the ring wearing their yellow t-shirts and huge sunglasses. Finally the fireworks went off and the Dudley Boyz marched to the ring to a big pop. The bell sounded; Albert and D-Von were in the ring first as the legal men to start the match. Albert nailed D-Von with some hard right fists, D-Von went off the ropes then bounced back with a clothesline and then tagged in Buh Buh. The two Dudleys double-teamed Albert for a short while and then D-Von finally went to their corner. Buh Buh had the advantage until finally Albert tagged in Test. Test nailed Buh Buh with a huge boot to the face. Albert and Test then grabbed a table and brought it into the ring. In came the Dudleys. Buh Buh held up the table and from behind, Albert caught him by surprise and broke the table over his body. This did not count as a table in the rules of the match. After some confusion, and some double teaming on the Dudleys at the hands of T&A, the Dudleys bounced back and hit a big double suplex. Buh Buh then set up a table, but Test was right there and got it out of the way. Out of nowhere, Edge came in and powerbombed Albert through the table. This eliminated T&A and left us with two teams. Christian and D-Von were in the ring. Christian had the advantage. He nailed D-Von with a spinning suplex and then tagged in his brother Edge. D-Von was down and Edge came in and hit D-Von with several hard rights to the face. Edge then went for a table, but D-Von got up and nailed him with baseball slide through the bottom rope. D-Von and Edge were both down at this point. In came Buh Buh, but the ref did not the see the tag made and wouldn’t let him in the ring. Edge took the advantage, and then Christian came in and nailed D-Von with a downward slam. Both men tagged in their partners to bring in two fresh(er) men. Edge and Christian went for the WASSUP Headbutt. Buh Buh broke loose and Edge nailed Christian and he fell. The Dudleyz went to do wazzzzup, it paid off. Buh Buh called for the table, the crowed went wild. Dudleys went for 3D through a table... Christian went through the table. Winner(s): The Dudleyz Michael Cole interviewed Lita, she explained about wanting to get her title back. Match 2: Women’s Title Match Lita vs. Ivory RTC's music sounded, out came Steven Richards and Ivory, Richards explained about expanding RTC and reaching out to the UK fans. He said about Sheffield being the place of the Full Monty, and that’s why he is here tonight, he said nudity of any nature is wrong. The crowd booed. He said having a pub on every street corner is wrong, he said worst of all having a monarchy that stands by and watches this happen is totally wrong and unacceptable. He said that as the royal family refuses to help, RTC would do so. Ivory grabbed the mic, Ivory said the path Lita is on is a very dangerous 1, she also said at Survivor series, it was for her own good, that ivory gave her a scar that will mark her face. She offered Lita a chance to see the light and change, she also said to Lita dont force my hand again. Out came lita!! Lita ran into the ring, she speared Ivory, and nailed her with some punches, chants of Lita started. Lita nailed Ivory with a snapmare and then a drop kick, Lita went for the pin (2 count). Ivory was dazed, Lita hit ivory with a suplex, Steven Richards went to the top rope, Lita nailed him with a low blow, Ivory caught Lita from behind. And applied some kind of toss hold. Lita was down, Ivory whipped Lita, she fought back and nailed Ivory with the Twist 'o' Fate. Lita went for a sunset flip. Ivory grabbed the ropes and Steven Richards held down Lita's legs, the ref made the count and Ivory retained her title. Winner: Ivory Match 3: Hardcore Title Match Steve Blackman vs. Perry Saturn Perry Saturns Music sounded, out he came without Terri. Blackmans music sounded, there was a loud cheer. Blackman took the early advantage, nailing Saturn with some nice martial arts moves, Saturn countered and tossed Blackman out of the ring. The match went to the outside, Blackman nailed Saturn with a swinging neckbreaker, Blackman tossed Saturn in the ring and nailed him with a STEEL PLATE, he then covered Saturn for the 2 count. Saturn rolled over he nailed Blackman on the center of his head, he covered Blackman, blackman kicked out. Saturn did some kicks in the corner, he whipped Blackman into the ropes, Blackman countered with a clothesline. Saturn did a very nice suplex in a crucifix position. Blackman was down and Saturn broke a steel plate over the head of Blackman. Saturn ran at Blackman, he backbody dropped Saturn onto a steel chair. Saturn picked up a fire extinguisher and sprayed Blackman, Saturn picked up a chair, he set it up in the ring, he went to slam blackman onto it, blackman countered with a drop toe hold. Blackman got his KENDO sticks, he nailed blackman 13 times and then did his cross body suplex, he covered Saturn only for the 2 count. Blackman went for the inside cradle but only for the 2 count, he then hit Saturn with a chair another cover. 1...2...3 Winner: Steve Blackman Michael Cole stopped William Regal backstage, Regal then commented on how he has acheived so much in the WWF. He said its a great pleasure to represent Britain, he then said Britain doesnt have many sports hero's, he then named and shamed some boxers, one being prince naseem, who's hometown is infact sheffield. He then said he will teach Americans how to have manners and eat properly. He then said most people in England have terrible hygene and most are too lazy to work and are poor. He said he will do what ever it takes to make things right. Undertaker was pictured arriving. Match 4: European Title Match William Regal vs. Crash Holly Out came crash holly w/ Molly. After a short time, William Regal came out, there were boos echoing the arena. Regal Grabbed the Mic. "As i said, its great to be back here, but now i know the ones who are booing me, only a few but you know that when i come out here i will get a reaction better than austin, i am so good i will get a reaction better than the rock, because im your hero, I represent you all" regal said regal sucks chants started "i know you dont mean that, im your hero, your pride and joy, me being your champion is bringing joy to you all, because lets face it your a bunch of under-acheivers, and i have something, you can thank me later..." regal added Crash seemed bored and ran at regal, Crash nailed some speedy moves, Regal countered with a power bomb. Crash was down, regal nailed Crash with some kicks, he whipped him into the ropes, and taunted the crowed. Regal nailed crash with a suplex, he went for the cover and got a 2 count. Regal applied a sleeper, Crash broke free and nailed Regal with a hurricinrana. Regal jumped up and scooped slammed Crash Holly. Crash was down, Regal did some slow moves, and then nailed Crash with yet another suplex. Regal did some kind of hold, Regal had his foot on the rope, the ref was un aware. Crash broke free and nailed Regal with a drop kick, Regal nailed a quick kick, Regal got the 3 count, but crash had his foot on the rope. The ref ordered the match to coninue crash rolled up Regal. Winner And New Euro Champion: Crash Holly Regal grabbed the title belt and ran off. The Radicalz Music Sounded, then CHYNA'S theme soundedm chyna came out where small shorts and a bran type top with the UK flag on it. There wasn't really much crowed noise until Billy Gunn's theme sounded.. Out Came the Intercontinental champion Billy Gunn. It was Billy Gunn and Eddie Guerrero in the ring first, Eddie took the early advanatage, wearing Billy Gunn down with some Fast punch / kick combos. Billy Gunn bounced back with a big tilt o whirl slam. Billy Gunn was talking to the ref, Eddie sneaked up behind Billy Gunn, and billy gunn turned and nailed Eddie with a quick clothesline. Chyna WAS TAGGED in so to was Malenko, Chyna pulled off some stunning moves, and she beat Malenko for around 5 minutes, Malenko distracted the ref by going for a weapon, Eddie tripped up chyna, Guerrero beat down Chyna in the ring, Malenko went for the pin, 2-count. Malenko went for a suplex, Chyna countered with a sunset flip suplex of some sort. Chyna looked to be very tired. Chyna bounced back with a low blow to Malenko and then a DDT. Chyna got the tag Billy Gunn was in, he did some HIGH POWER moves, knocking down both Eddie and Malenko, Billy Gunn did the jack-hammer on Malenko, he then followed it up with the fameasser, he went for cover but only managed to 2 count due to Eddie pulling away the ref, chyna pulled out eddie guerrero and Billy Gunn nailed a high power slam on Malenko, HE went for the pin 1..2..3 Winners: Chyna And Billy Gunn A video showing the on going fued with Y2J and Kane was played. The match started with a few punches. Kane nailed Y2J with some powerful slams, he then nailed Y2J with 10 punches. Y2J was down Kane just stomped for around 5 full minutes. Y2J countered a hold from Kane, and reveresed it into a small package. Kane jumped back up and choked Y2J, Kane went for the cover, only for a 2 count. The match moved very slow, with kane just basically stomping. Kane whipped Jericho into the ropes, and nailed him with a sidewalk slam, Kane went to the top rope, Jericho knocked him down. Jericho tried to superplex Kane from the top rope, kane hit jericho down, Kane nailed Y2J with a double ax handle form the top rope. Both men were down the ref counted to 7 but Kane and jericho got to their Feet. Jericho was looking for the Walls Of Jericho. He couldnt seem to get Kane rolled over, Kane was holding in, Kane grabbed Y2J'S throat jericho released the hold and went for the lionsault. Kane got his knees up. Kane locked in the choke slam and slammed JERICHO right to hell. 1...2..3 Winner: Kane Lita was backstage, Trish approached her, poking fun at Litas Loss, Lita tossed drink in Trish's face Lita nailed trish with some kicks and punches, she then proceeded to beat trish around the back stage area TRISH HAD HER TOP RIPPED OFF!! bra ! The wwf officials rushed backstage and split the fight up. Out came the hardyz to a huge pop, RTC's music sounded, out came the WWF Tag Champs. The match started as the hardy boyz did a quick double team on Goodfather and Bull. Bull and Jeff hardy was in the ring, Jeff nailed some high risk moves, in came the goodfather with a huge clothesline. Goodfather beat on Jeff hardy for a few minutes, he then tagged in Bull Buchanan. Bull nailed Jeff with a hard HARD punch. Jeff went down, in came Matt Hardy, he nailed bull with a bulldog take down, he then went for the twist of fayte, In came goodfather, he mistakidly hit Bull Buchanan with a clothesline. Matt was then tripped up by a dazed Bull Buchanan, both Goodfather and Bull double teamed Matt Hardy. Goodfather went for the HO train but missed, matt tagged in jeff hardy, jeff nailed Goodfather with a drop kick, in came bull buchanan, jeff did a corkscrew moonsault and took down both men. Both hardyz nailed the POETRY IN MOTION, Matt nailed goodfather with the twist of fate, VAL VENIS distracted the refer and bull buchanan covered mat. 1..2..3 winners: Goodfather & Bull Buchanan The camera went backstage, Kurt angle was talking to Edge And Christian, he sweet talked both edge and christian, and tried to get them to help kurt retain his wwf title. The undertaker was pictured backstage, Benoit was taunting him, then outta no where the Radicalz attacked The Undertaker. Benoits theme sounded, out came Chris Benoit. Undertakers music sounded but there was no site of the undertaker, there was a long silence, taker's them played once more yet still no sign of him. Benoit told the ref to raise his hand. The announcer was about to name benoit as the winner, but then The Undertaker came limping in. Benoit went straight to work on Undertakers damaged knee. Undertaker nailed benoit with a scoop-slam. Benoit was down, undertaker then tripped, Benoit bounced up and went to work on Undertakers injured knee. The match went to the outside, where Undertaker took the advantage. Benoit applied some form of leg lock on Undertakers Knee joint, benoit hit undertaker with a low blow, the referee never saw it. Benoit continued to apply holds to Taker's knee, and still the Undertaker wouldnt tap out. Benoit locked in the figure 4 leg lock right in the center of the ring. There was a long pause, The Rocks theme blaired, out came the people's champion. The breaking of the glass sounded, out came AUSTIN. Austin and Rikishi went to the outside, the rock and angle in the ring, the rock nailed Angle with a samoan drop. Austin and Rock double teamed Rikishi, The rock noticed Kurt Angle walking up the ramp with the belt, rock gave chase and dragged Angle back to the ring. Austin was beating on rikishi in the ring austin covered Rikishi but only for a 2 count. Austin left the ring with angle, Riksihi was left in the ring with the rock, rock took some hard rights from rikishi, and Riksihi called for the stink face, the rock jumped up and landed a spine buster. Rock went for the peoples elbow. He went for the cover, kurt angle broke up the count. Austin the turned on the rock, it was austin and the rock in the ring, austin got the stunner on the rock, austin covered the rock but angle interupted the count. The rock hit Austin with the rock bottom, he covered austin but Rikishi pulled the ref outta the ring. Edge and christian ran in, but austin kicked their asses. It was rikishi and rock in the ring. Rock bottom on rikishi, Edge got in and interupted the count. In came the radicalz, Austin pinned rikishi, radicalz broke up the count. There was totaly mayhem in the ring. Angle alympic slammed rikishi. 1..2..3 Winner: Kurt Angle |
