How do you understand your hammie? They can't talk you know. But they do body language. This is what some of their body language means;

- lying on its back bareing teeth: Your hamster is scared, and ready to attack.
- running away when being petted: Your hamster has had enough of this.
- Collecting nesting material: Ut-oh! your hamsters going to have babies. Its best to leave her alone at this time.
- Yawning: Your hamsters feeling comfortable.
- Growling, muttering, squeeling: Your hamsters just saying, "Hey man just leave me alone".
- Leaping in the air: No, your hamsters does not think its a bird, its just expressing what a good mood its in.
- Sitting up on haunches: Your hamsters discovered something intresting.
- Flinching: There was a noise that frightened your hamster.
