The
Outsiders
Kevin Nash Height: 6'11 Weight: 329 lbs. Hometown: Scottsdale, Arizona Birthday: July, 9 1959 Pro Debut: 1990 Signature Maneuver: Jack Knife Powerbomb Scott Hall Height: 6'5" Weight: 280 lbs. Hometown: Miami, Florida Born: October 20, 1958 Pro Debut: October 1984 Signature Maneuver: Outsider's Edge There are many tag teams that can boast of some pretty admirable accomplishments. After reuniting in 1999, Harlem Heat became the nine-time tag team champions. Back in the day, the Steiner brothers were so dominant that most teams wouldn't last five minutes against Rick and Scott's onslaught of suplexes. But only one team can say they changed wrestling forever. When Scott Hall and Kevin Nash began their takeover in 1996, the heavyweight duo knew they were taking on the humble task of rewriting all the rules of an industry cemented by its tradition. Not only did the Outsiders speak when they pleased and attack their enemies with abandon, they also happened to be the best tag team in the history of the sport. Despite having only tagged for a few months, the overwhelming power and athleticism of Nash and Hall obliterated every team in WCW. They were so dominating that tag wrestling ceased to exist – there were simply no more teams to destroy. The lack of competition – and Hall's personal problems – eventually turned the Outsiders on themselves. They battled several times, but nothing seemed able to kill their friendship. On Monday, October 4, 1999, Hall and Nash returned to Monday Nitro, together. As an homage to their debut, the boys sat in the front row, watched the matches, drank some cold ones and let the locker room wonder about their true intentions. They were truly Outsiders again.... and never looked happier.
