Storyline:

Final Fantasy 9's storyline was really cool. It begins with an energetic Genome named Zidane being breifed on a mission to kidnap the princess of Alexandria. Her name is Garnet,(later changed to Dagger), and she decides that she wants to be kidnaped by the group Tantalus, which is the group that wanted to kidnap her in the first place. Tantalus isn't a group of bad guys, don't get me wrong, the princess is just in danger because she is the last of the summoners (as far as she knows) and there are a lot of people using her for that reason, including her own mother! They narrowly escape and begin their quest to rid the world of Mist that is destorying the planet! I really really enjoyed FF9.

Characters:
I really loved all the characters in FF9. Each character represented a diffrent job class in previous Final Fantasy games. For example, Zidane; dagger: a theif, Vivi; staff: black mage, Dagger; rod or racket: white mage or summoner, Steiner; sword: knight, Freya; spear: lancer, Quina; fork: blue mage, Amarant; claws: ninja or monk, and Eiko; flute or racket: white mage or summoner.
MY FAVS: DAGGER AND VIVI
LEAST FAV: QUINA

Gameplay:

Hey!! Classic Final Fantasy is Back! You can use up to 4 characters at once and you use MP for magic instead of drawing magic. Only Vivi, however can use black magic, and only Eiko and Dagger can summon and use white magic. But, Eiko and Dagger can use different summons and white magic so each character is very unique and cool. The animation is this game was spectacular, and so was the gameplay.

Overall:

Is it just me or did it sort of seem like FF9 was missing something? It was a great game no doubt, but there was some things missing from the game. Like who actually was Vivi's grandfather and why was Quan so upset about hearing about him?? And, where did the final boss come from?? I hate it when the final bosses come out of the blue like that! And, what is the deal with the crystal, there is like no reference to it at all until the very end, but that stuff doesn't matter, i still LOVED FF9!!!!!
