Storyline:
The storyline to FF5 is that you are a young adventurous man named Bartz who embarks on a journey with three other chosen heros in a quest to save to the world and the 4 crystals from certain destruction from the evil wizard X-Death. I thought that the storyline to FF5 was pretty neat. There were plenty of unexpected twists and turns to the story to really keep you interested!
Characters:
The five main characters in the game were Bartz: the hero, Reina: a princess, Faris: a scurvy sea captain, Galuf: an old man with amnesia, Krille: Galuf's granddaughter.
With only a few characters that you can use in your party, they each develop very well and you really get to know everyone.
MY FAVS: REINA AND KRILLE
LEAST FAV: BARTZ
Gameplay:
The gameplay is pretty much classic final fantasy. Which, is to me ingenius! And the job system is somewhat confusing at first, but after a while, it's great and provides a wide variety of abilities to use. The types of jobs include, knight, hunter, black mage, white mage, time mage, summoner, ninja, samurai, sorcerer, bard, dancer, berserker, mime, and many more.
Overall:
I loved this game! of course i love all of the final fantasy series, but this one was definatley unique in its own way. It was difficult but fun, and although with what it lacks in graphics, it makes up for in it's storyline.
RATING: *** (out of 5)
