You come to digimon world through a key chain. Waiting in Digiworld is your very own partner(eithier agumon or Gabumon). Then an old Digimon, Jijimon asked you of a favor. He asks you to go and find all of the digimon that once lived in file city and get them to rejoin. It isnt easy but some digimon you just talk to them and they instantly join the city but other digimon wont join without a fight. Every digimon(except like2) has there very own meaning in the city. For example, Centarumon runs the Medical Station. It gets a little easier to get digimon in the city once you have more digimon in the city becuase of the stuff you can do like Greymon's Gym. It also does get a little harder becuase there are harder digimon you have to battle like Machinedramon. So you have to go to the highest stage possible(Ultimate). Your other Goal in the game is to collect all the medals which is even harder then getting all digimon back to the city. Every digimon you get to the city, raises your prosperity rate which is kinda the percent of digimon recruited. Rookie digimon that join the city raise your prosperity rate by 1, Champions by 2, and Ultimates by 3. Some digimon cannot join the city. Thats about it for everything on Digimon World.
