Missingno
This is the popular infinite item trick. First have a Pokemon with you that is compatible with fly. Make sure the item you chose that you want to have infinite, placed on the 6th of your list (rare candy would be a good choice, anything that makes your Pokemon stronger). Fly to Viridian City and talk to the man who shows you how to catch Pokemon, and say no, watch him catch the weedle. After he's done, fly to Cinnabar Island walk all the way to the right hand side shore, and keep surfing up and down. If you've done the trick correctly, you would find a pokemon named Missingno, a messed up graphic Pokemon, (WARNING: DO NOT CATCH MISSINGO, AS IT CAN MESS UP YOUR GAME AND DELETE YOUR FILE!!!) when you actually meet Missingo you would want to defeat it, and if you do defeat it, press Start go to Items and if you've noticed your 6th item now has a little image beside it, it means that it is infinite now, but if you keep using the item, and used up to one item left you would want to do the trick over again, because if you continued with one item you would lose that item.
Pokemon level 146 and Over
To make this trick actually work, you really need to follow the instructions carefully. First go to Cerulean City, go to the house that has a man who describes all the badges, go in his backyard, (Make sure in you item list on the 6th place that it dosen't have a rare candy) use the item finder, all around his backyard, and if you've found the right spot, there is a rare candy. Now put that rare candy on the 6th of your list, go to Cinnabar Island go into the lab, go to the first door where there's a man who wants to trade his Electrode for a Raichu, trade you Raichu for his Electrode, after do the Missingo trick, and go back Cinnabar Island, and surf up and down on right hand side shore. If you've dont this trick right you would get Pokemon level 146 or over.

Get 3 Potions at the Start of the Game
To get 3 potions at the start follow these instructions:
1:Go to the PC in your room. Go to withdraw.Get the potion.
2:Go to the next city.Go by the tree next to the bush.Press A.
3:Talk to the guy on your way to the city.
Mew
You know you heard all about those other Mew tricks, but guess what, they're all fake, there are only 2 real ways to get it. First one, if you have a Gameshark type in 0115D8CF
you can go anywhere to find this Mew when you find Mew it will look the graphics will messed up, like a Missingno but when you catch it, it will look like in its real form, if you are going to catch Mew, save the game with the top slide turned to the NORM position NORM means normal. The second way to get Mew is to go to where there was a Pokecenter with a man selling his Magikarp for $500 I think, buy it and put it in the Daycare Center till its level 100, this second Mew code, I dont really know if it works or not because I haven't tried it before. The first Mew code definitely works, but need Gameshark. The special advantage of having a Mew is that it can learn ANY move!!!!
To Find the Power Plant
To get to the power plant head to the rock tunnel entrance.When you get to the patch of grass go upward then take a right.Then go foward till you get to the water. Surf.Go downward till you run into a steap hill, take a left, keep going left untill you find another steep hill. Then go upward.You will see land go upward and you'll see a big building. And that's your power plant! Watch out for voltorbs that look like pokaball item things!
Free Coins
When your in celadon city and you have collected a free coin case from the local diner, go to the game corner and search behind all the people playing the slots . You should get 10, or even 20 game coins that just appeared behind the people that are playing the slots. You should get around 90 game coins or so all together.Have fun and good luck!
Cinnabar Gym Cheat
Although this isn't really a cheat,I thought it might help people out. This one lets you get to the gym leader without having to fight the other trainers. When you walk through do you notice the computers. Go up and talk to them. It lets you open the gates by taking a quiz. Just do this all the way through. It's also a great way to test your knowledge of pokemon.
Sabrina's Gym
Take the teleport square by the man with glasses. Then take the teleport to your left. Take the teleport below you. Take the one at your left. Take the one at your left again and their you are a Sabrina.
The Invisible PC
Go to the celadon City hotel. Then go to the corner and then go down 2 spaces and 1 space up. Then you press "A" and there is an invisible PC that you can use just like a PC in a pokemon center only you can walk through it.
Get Mew for Free (Japanese Version)
To get Mew the easy way you must have all 150 Pokemon. Then go to Celadon Mansion (front entrance) and go to the 3rd floor with all the PC's. Talk to the guy who's not on the PC and he ill give you a Mew for free.
Note: (In the American Version, all he gives you is a Diploma)
Inside a Tree
This is another code that dosen't help much but fun to watch. Cut a tree down and get in the place it was, save the game and turn it off. Turn it on again and you will be up on the tree.
Get Eevee
Go to Celedon City from there go to the back of the Celedon Mansion. Enter the mansion and proceed down the stairs until you see a small room. Enter the door and you'll see a pokeball with a man who knows everything. Inside the pokeball is the Eevee.
