TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
I am pleased to answer any questions you may have to conduct your Research into employment opportunities for counsellors. As an Institute member and graduate of the A.I.P.C. I have found that when looking for employment as a counsellor the A.I.P.C. Diploma was not enough. However whilst studying for the [Bach.Soc.Sc.] In the Southern Cross University I was pleased to see that this was an excepted as [recognition of prior learning]. So I have met other graduates of A.I.P.C. on my travels and they said the same thing it is great teaching. However it is only a stepping stone for more learning, I did find it also complimented my Psychology Diploma but still needed a Degree to be excepted. So I have adopted this attitude, in what ever I do next and I have found a few words of wisdom to help.
The most successful business for you will almost always be the one that you find the most interesting and exciting. If you love what you do, you will be able to put in long hours promoting it and taking care of it. There is an old saying that if you do what you love for a living you will never have to work a day in your life.
So, instead of looking for a business based on how much you can earn up-front, choose a business based on your love for that business. The most successful and fulfilled people are individuals who are following a dream or vision of their own. They are not just out trying to make dollars.
Make sure you take potential opportunities with a grain of salt if they don't meet your interests, find something that does. You will have much more fun in your business if you do what you love. Thats why I am going back to being a Pastor. The mission at the Word of Faith Family Fellowship (or) Brian Richards & Associates is to provide Service that can help you follow your dream or vision. |
