| EX (extra) forms Complete the arcade mode with any character to unlock the character's EX (extra) form in the secret shop. To select a character's EX form, enter the character-selection screen. While picking your characters, hold Start to switch from the normal to the EX character. Press A, B, X, or Y to choose that form. Unlock Evil Ryu and Evil Iori Complete both the Capcom and SNK grooves in arcade mode with normal Ryu and normal Iori. Secrets 34 and 49 (Evil Ryu and Iori respectively) will become available for purchase in the secret shop for 7,000 versus points each. Fight Gouki (Akuma) Unlock Gouki's "Shadow" secret 62 by beating the game, and then purchase it in the secret shop for 500 versus points. Start a new game and acquire at least 80,000 groove points before the final match to get him to appear. Fight against Morrigan and Nakoruru Unlock their shadows, secrets 63 and 64 (Morrigan and Nakoruru respectively), and purchase them in the secret shop for 700 versus points apiece. Start a new game and earn at least 60,000 groove points by the end of the third match (the third team you face) without any continues. To fight Morrigan, choose the Capcom groove. Her stage costs 1,200 versus points. Unlock the pair match mode Beat both Morrigan and Nakoruru in arcade mode to unlock the pair match mode, secret 71. Pair match mode costs 1,800 versus points. Unlock adjustable ratios in versus mode Beat Gouki in the arcade mode on the Capcom groove to unlock secret 72. It costs 1,500 versus points for adjustable rations. Lazy points Earn easy versus points for the secret shop by entering the training mode. Choose a character and opponent, and leave the game running for a couple of hours at the battle screen. You should earn about 999 versus points, the maximum for each training match. Exit the training mode, and repeat the process for more versus points. |
