| 1000 years ago the world was obliterated after the tragic battle known historicly as the War of the Magi. Today, high technology has been rediscovered and life is thriving. Likewise, the mystery of the past feeds the curiousity of a vast Empire and those who control it. With the recent discovery of an Esper in a distant mining town, the key to possessing Magic has become more realistic. It will take the power of a rebelion and a Kingdom to stop a mad man who thirsts for the power of Magic. Yep. That sounds right to me. Now for the where I am in the game... It all starts out when 3 people in these machines come from the empire. Biggs, Wedge, and a girl known as ??????. They walk through this cave looking for an esper. After a big battle with a huge snail, the girl reacts to the esper and finds herself in Narshe. You learn her name is Terra and she has the ability to cast magic. She has no memory of what has happened and is out of the empire's control. She wonders through the cave again to escape empire soldiers. She falls through a hole and goes unconscious. She then recieves a vision of herself in the empire. She is completely helpless until Locke comes in with some moogles. They fight off the soldiers before they can reach Terra. They exit the cave and head south to Figaro Castle. They confront King Edgar and a strange man enters the kingdom. His name is Kefka and he begins to burn the castle. Edgar, Terra, and Locke escape on chocobos and the castle sinks into the sand. They then head for the Returners' Hideout and walk through Mt. Koltz. They then encounter a fighter and Sabin comes to the rescue. He defeats him and the 4 of them reach the hideout. When they do, they meet Banon and the hideout is under attack. They get out in time, but Locke stays behins to fight them. Terra, Edgar, Sabin, and Banon escape on a raft and head down the river to escape them. Along the way, they fight this octapus thing and Sabin leaps to kill it. He goes downstream instead. You can now choose to play scenarios between Sabin, Locke, or Terra and Co. I chose Sabin. Sabin goes to a house and encounters Shadow. Shadow joins and they head to the Empire Base. Then you are introduced to Cyan and he fights off soldiers trying to take the castle. Sabin and Shadow eventually meet up with Cyan and they run to the Phantom Forest. Shadow leaves and Sabin and Cyan hop onto the Ghost Train. They run to stop the train before they are brought to the other world. Along the way, they get help from some friendly ghosts known as ??????. They stop the train and hop off. Cyan's mother and son hop on and leave Cyan. They then head towards Banen Falls and leap off to reach more land. After falling off, they land in the Veldt. There, they meet Gua. They encounter him over and over agin. He joins after feeding him Dried Meat. They travel through the Veldt looking for Gua's "treasure." They find it and travel underwater. They reach a town and hitch a ride to South Figaro. You must then choose between the Terra and the Locke scenario. I chose Locke, which is a short scenario. He must escape the town quickly. He'll dress up as the fellow soldiers after stealing their clothes in battle. He'll pass through a secret passageway. We'll walk around until he finds a damsel in distress, which happens to be Celes. After Locke saved her, they escape the town and through the South Figaro Cave. They walk through the cave and fight Drill Armor. After defeating it, they escape the cave. The Terra, Edgar, and Banon is all that's left. That is where I am so far. I'll keep this updated as I progress through the game. Page Theme- Battle Theme |
