| Do it yourself Tie dye: What you’ll need: Rit dye Buckets for each color Ten rubber bands Shade steps: 1. mix dye powder with water. One color per bucket. 2. Gather a handful of fabric, twist tightly, knot, and hold in place by rapping a rubber band around the knot. The more you make the more “starburst” patterns you get. 3. Dip fabric in dye for 5 sec. Dunk different knots into different color dyes for cool affect. 4. Rinse in warm water until water runs clear. 5. Drop-dry or toss into dryer. (hand wash separately in future) |
