| Teen Pregnancy: I for one am against teen's getting pregnant. I know a guy who's biological mother had him when she was 13 and gave him up for adoption (which was a smart thing, cause she was only 13) because of the fact that she "didn't want him" he has low self esteem he things people don't want him. When i talk to him about it no matter how good i make it seem he has it, and that fate put him with his adoped parents he still doesn't get over the fact that he will never know her and it tares him up. He is a really sweet guy, and i admit that if i didn't know who my real parents were that'd scare me about who i truley am. I also have a friend who got a girl who was 16 pregnant and took full responsibility. He's 17 now, and has a baby boy. His girlfriend who had the baby left him all alone with the baby. Just took of one day and didn't return for a while. He was broken hearted. There he was with a baby, no job, no help, and hardly any money. It's been a year now and the mother comes back to visit the beautiful baby boy sometimes, but it's still not as good as having a real mother. My is doing the best he can by raising his kid, and most teen fathers wouldn't even want to be around their kids. You see this type of thing all the time on Jerry Springer or Rickki Lake. So doesn't that tell you that it's a bad thing. Most of the time the mother doesn't know who the father is. It's nothing but hurt and pain. I guess what I'm saying is if you going to have sex, and get pregnant then i think it's your responsibility to take care of your kid, because you made the decision to have sex, and you should deal with the consiquences. If you don't wand kids then don't have sex, be smart about it! |
