What if you were in school and everything was going great. You just aced that Algebra test and you were invited to a party that one of your friends was having. Nothing could go wrong, right? Then 2 hours later, some of your fellow classmates, the ones who you usually just pass in the halls, are standing face to face with you and a gun. All of a sudden you are told to stand if you believe in God. Some of your friends around you stand. Then the most horrible thing happens. They are shot. Some severly wounded, others, dead.
I wish I could say that the above was just a horrible story someone made up. Well, it's not. It is becoming an all too true scene in the school's around our nation. Mississippi, Kentucky, Arkansas, Colorado, and just recently Oklahoma.
I have just one question to ask you. Would you have stood? Even if a gun stared you in your eyes, would you have stood?
It is important to be saved. Jesus was sent here, to this earth, to save us from our many sins. We are sinners because we are human. God made us. He didn't make outcasts. He made YOU, a very special person that is created in the image of Jesus. Just because you are created in the image of Jesus won't mean you will be perfect like him. We are sinners. Even the Christians that take a stand for God have sinned at one point in their life. But ya know what? God sent His son, Jesus Christ, to save the world from sin. That is why he died on the cross for us. He had YOU in mind when the nails pierced his hands and feet. He had YOU in mind when the spears pierced his side. And he had YOU in mind when he took his last breath. Yes, that is right. Jesus died for YOU. He died for you to save you from your sins. Of course Jesus could have saved himself, but he didn't because he died for YOU! YOU are VERY special to him. No matter your age, weight, color, height, or even if you have freckles! God created you special!!!!!!!
Ok. I just explained to you how Jesus died the most awful death for you. Would you have taken a stand and stood up for Him? Would you take a stand for the one who took a stand for you?
It is important to be saved because we are not even promised the next breath. You weren't even promised today. You are not promised that you will wake up in the morning. Do you think that Rachel Scott woke up knowing that she would face the most important decision in her life that day when she was shot because she believed in God?
When God comes are you going to be ready? What will you be doing? Will you be cussing? Will you be listening to secular music? Will you be doing something other than worshipping God? Just think about that right now. If Christ came right now, what would He find you doing? Now is the time to make an important decision. If you are not saved, do you want to know Christ? Do you want to have the most awesome friend in the world that will never leave you no matter what? If you answered yes, then we are very proud of you. If you pray this simple prayer and ask God to come into your heart and save you from your sins, He will do just that. And I PROMISE you, your life will be so much more enjoyable and worthwhile when you have Jesus in your heart. If you want to become a Christian, please pray this simple prayer right now.
Dear Jesus,
I lay my life in front of you now. I come to you as a sinner. I know, though,
that through you I will find peace and forgiveness. You died on the cross to save
me from my sins that would have left me for eternal suffering. I come to you now with an
open heart and I invite you in to change my life. Father, I want to you to save me. Father, create me to be the person you want me to be. I invite you into my life right now, Father. And it's in your most Holy Name that I pray this.
Amen
Did you pray that prayer? If so and you want to share it with someone, please let us know. Also, let your friends know. Don't be ashamed of the decision you just made. Be proud. God is and so are we! You just made the MOST IMPORTANT decision of your life.
Anyone who is not saved will live in eternal life of suffering in hell. Yes, hell is a real place. It is a place of eternal suffering, wailing, and gnashing of teeth. Just ask yourself, where would you go if you died right now.
CHRIST IS COMING SOON TO TAKE HIS PEOPLE UP. WILL YOU BE GOING? |
