CLEANING-UP YOUR ACT

First, let me start out by saying how God led me to add this page to our website. As you know, this page is called CLEANING UP YOUR ACT. While I was mopping the floor I felt something inside me remind me of the story in the Bible when Jesus visits Martha and Mary. In that story, Mary sat at the Lord's feet and listened to what He had to say. Meanwhile, Martha was busy trying to clean things up and prepare for Jesus. Martha then came to Jesus and asked, "Lord, don't you care that my sister has left me to do the work by myself? Tell her to help me!"
Jesus replied, "Martha, Martha, you are worried and upset about many things, but only one thing is needed. Mary has chosen what is better and it will not be taken away from her."

The point here is that...we don't need to try to fix problems on our own. We need to call upon Jesus and admit our sins to Him. He knows EVERY sin that we have committed. That is why by calling upon the Lord He can handle and "CLEAN UP" every one of our problems. If we live a life dedicated to serving and worshipping God, He will help us "CLEAN UP OUR ACTS" Listen to what God has to say!!!!! Don't try to handle everything on your own. That reminds me of a line in a song. In the song I'LL CARRY YOU (sung by Rebecca St. James) it says: "...We were never meant to make it on our own. And when the load becomes too heavy and your feet to tired to walk, I will carry you and you'll be carried on." God will carry us. He will be there to lift us up when we are down. He will be there to lift us up when we feel like the world is resting on our shoulders. Just turn it all over to Christ and have FAITH in Him!!!!!
