Youre First Marker.
So you have finally broken down and given in and have decided to purchase your first and very own paintball marker. Now that you have decided to go and get one you must slow down and decide what type of marker that you want to get. When choosing a marker there are a few key things that you will want to keep in mind while shopping. First look around and do your homework. Second make a list of ten markers that you may consider buying that are in your price range. Then take that list and scratch off any markers made by Brass eagle. Then with the remaining markers on your list research each of these markers and make a list of pros and cons for each. Things that make a good marker include durability. Ask your self can this thing survive through my style of play. Try to purchase something that is relatively simple to disassemble and that has few parts so that you can easily learn your marker inside and out. Try different markers out. You can be sure that a store owner would be more then happy to take you out to the back of the shop and let you fire off a few rounds to see if you like the feel. When shooting your marker look for three things, look for accuracy, trigger pull and how fast it can fire. If it is accurate, fast and if the trigger pull is comfortable then that is a good indication that you will be satisfied with your purchase. Next you will need a hopper or loader. Your most inexpensive hopper would be a 200 round VL, but if you want to start off with a high-end hopper go for a 12-volt revolution. The 9-volt even though it is cheaper it cant perform as well as a 12-volt. As for gas if you have a mechanical marker as opposed to an electronic marker CO2 will do fine be sure to get a 12 or 20 oz tank. However if you get an electronic marker you should get HPA (high pressure Air) simply because it will ensure a longer life for your marker and many electos cant run on CO2. Well I hope that this article has been of some use to you just remember to do your homework and dont buy a marker that you wont be satisfied with.
