TEACH ENGLISH

E-mail Magazine for
teachers of English published by ELT Services EIRL, Lima - Peru

Web site:
http://www.maxpages.com/teachenglish

Issue
N° 1, October 2000

A WORD FROM THE EDITOR

Welcome to our first issue of Teach English. The objective of this newsletter
is to keep you informed about what is going on in the TEFL scene mainly in Peru,
give you information about sites of interest for teachers of English, reviews of
published materials and direct
you to useful articles for our every day practice.

Most articles in Teach English are not going to be copied here but a link to
their actual location will be provided. This is done in this way because we do
not want this page to be too "heavy" and because the articles we will
direct you to are already published on sites outside this publication: what we
do is simply find them and tell you where they are. However, we still have space
for our own original articles. These will also have a link to their location,
but this time the site of origin is our own web page where you will be able to
find all Teach English original articles in a sort of data base together with some other
useful information.

We also intend to have a section on Local News and a Letters from the Readers
section. For this, we need your cooperation telling us about the activities that
are going on in your area and your letters with comments .

Thanks for reading this newsletter and please write to us with your
suggestions and ideas to improve Teach English. Our colleagues may subscribe by
writing to us: cesark@terra.com.pe
