• Rey Mysterio, Jr. defeated Evan Karagias with the top rope Huracanrana, to retain the Cruiserweight Title.
- Evan Karagias had a new look, with baggy pants, no T-shirt, dreadlocks, and sunglasses, but wrestled in trunks. Karagias dominated the majority of the match, but the moment he was knocked down to the turnbuckle by Mysterio after attempting a top rope manuever, Mysterio finished him off with the top rope Huracanrana.

• Wrath defeated Damian with the Meltdown.

• Konnan Interview, Conducted by Gene Okerlund.
- Konnan hyped up the crowd with his ring introduction. Konnan said Disco Inferno played himself whenever he put himself in the Konnan interview. Konnan said it would be on at Spring Stampede. La Cucaracha and Juventud Guerrera made their ways out. Konnan immediately said Cucaracha was Disco. Guerrera said Cucaracha was the greatest luchadore. Juvi played the interpreter. Konnan said for Cucaracha to take the mask off. Cucaracha told Juvi he was from Cancun, Mexico. Konnan and Okerlund overheard Disco whispering to Juvi. Cucaracha insulted Konnan, so Konnan attacked the both of them.

• Hardcore Hak (w/Chastity) defeated Mikey Whipwreck with the Russian Legsweep.
- Hardcore Hak dominated in the beginning, with Chastity raking the eyes of Mikey Whipwreck. At one point, Hak nailed Whipwreck with a guillotine legdrop with Whipwreck draped over the guardrail. Whipwreck brought in a steel chair to his advantage. Hak then used the chair. Whipwreck returned fire with the kendo stick, but Hak caught him with the Russian Legsweep for the win. Following the match, Bam Bam Bigelow ran in and totally destroyed Hak, putting him through Greetings from Asbury Park. Chastity took a shot at Bigelow with the kendo stick, but it had no effect. Bigelow tried to hit Chastity with the object, but she escaped.

• Blitzkrieg defeated Super Calo with the Sky Twister.
- Blitzkreig was onto every maneuver Super Calo executed. Blitzkrieg executed many high-flying maneuvers and finished off Calo with the Sky Twister. They did not show it, but Calo had to be helped back to the locker room after being knocked out with Blitzkrieg's finishing maneuver.

• Raven defeated Chris Benoit (w/Arn Anderson) by Disqualification.
- At one point during the match, Arn Anderson tried to get involved, but was interrupted by a baseball slide. Chris Benoit almost had Raven locked in the Crippler Crossface. As Raven set up Benoit for the Even-Flow DDT, Anderson interfered, resulting in a Disqualifcation. Saturn made the save. Dean Malenko entered just before Raven was going to put Anderson's neck through the Even-Flow. The Four Horsemen came out on top of the attack. Anderson got in the microphone and said The Four Horsemen were back and the attack was on the fans' hands.

• Booker T. defeated Chris Jericho via Pinfall, to retain the Television Title.
- This match was incorrectly reported as a United States Title Tournament match in a previous report on RWIN. Before the match, Chris Jericho went on about himself with the crowd. At one point, Booker T. and Jericho took it down to the aisle to the set area. The referee was later accidently knocked out. Booker then took the advantage, ready to execute the Missle Dropkick, only to be hit by a chair by Scott Steiner. Jericho then put Booker in the Lion Tamer, but Stevie Ray surprisingly made the save, wacking Jericho over the head with the slapjack. Booker then made the pinfall.

• The new WCW logo was officially placed on the program and it will on the rest of WCW television programming. ... Mike Tenay and Larry Zbyszko were the new commentators of the show and will remain. ... The show also consisted of mentions of Bret Hart since he "quit" WCW, as Tenay plugged Hart's NBC Later appearance on Thursday night / Friday morning and Hart's confrontation with Goldberg on the 3/29 Nitro was also recapped. ... The show also consisted of different past Thunder and Nitro highlights.
