| This was written by Wyvern Stormhammer. (copperfire2@aol.com) i was walking out in the Dark Forest, mostly scouting for the group, who were heading for an enemy castle. When I saw a sign, "Test Your Courage and Strength! Visit Hell Hall! Where Many Monsters Preside! Only The Strong Survive!" So, naturally, I decided to try it. I followed the signs "3 miles north," "1 mile to Hell Hall," "100 yds to Hell Hall," "Here it is!" as I walked up to Hell Hall, i saw an item on the ground; a rotten mushroom, so I picked it up and put it under my left wing. The drawbridge was up so i figured calling someone to let it down. but before i could say anything, the drawbridge fell and i heard ominous music as i walked in the castle. and immediately, the drawbridge came up and slammed behind me. i noticed i was in a long corridor, with doors on each side 5 feet apart. i figured i might as well open one. i opened the first door, and out came some Lizardmen. i defeated them easily and opened the second door, out came some Zomboids, which i dispatched with a Fresh Mushroom Blade had given me. then i opened the third door. A sign popped out, "Try Again!" as a pie hit me in the face. Mmmm! whipped cream! i opened the fourth door, "Not This One!" said a sign as i noticed a Poison Mushroom on the ground. I put it under my right wing. I opened the fifth door. "Wrong!" said a sign as a chocolate pie hit me in the face. after licking it off, i was really starting to get frustrated. Many doors, pies, and items later, i ran into a new enemy. it was a large spider-type creature with eight legs, large fangs, seven eyes, etc. i dispatched this newcomer with a Glare. he then evaporated. And left behind an item, an ocarina with a note; Play the song here to find the way and beware of the Minotaur..... it played like Zelda's Lullaby. As i played it, a light glowed down the hall. i opened the glowing door, and saw The Minotaur. it was ugly as anything. Looked like Frankenstein, put together without planning, or constructed by a guy who could see what he was doing. but it was fierce, nonetheless. i tried various things on it. the rotten mushroom had no effect. he liked the poison mushroom. he was immune to ice and lightning. he broke out of the stone when i Glared at him. so i tried my new item, the ocarina. when i pulled it out, some new writing appeared on the paper that came with it. "To defeat the Minotaur, show him the light when the time is right" i noticed a hole in the roof. 'Show him the light" at nighttime? i saw some musical notes below the new message; they resembled those of the Sun's Song. i played it when he was under the hole. the light shone through the hole in the ceiling. and he let out a shriek of horror as he realized he was melting like the Wicked Witch of The West. i walked over the goop that was the remains of the Minotaur. and exited through the door that appeared as i walked through a sign said, "You Are Now Leaving Hell Hall." and another sign that said "Have a Nice Day!" When i got back to Tre'ventook Castle, i told Blade and Sabrewolf of my adventures. They liked the story. |
