To me Kevin seems like a very nice person. He lives outside Minneapolis (in Minnetonka) with his sister Ashley and his two best freinds. His house is kinda big, two storys with a trampoline out back. He likes keeping his house clean, "everything in my house is spotless. I have Cherrywood floors, and nobody can walk on them with shoes." {is'nt that cute?!?!} I talked to someone that knows him and he said: "he is funny, considerate to people, just a great person to hangout with."

He also trys to eats well, "Ashley is a big help in that area. I Was raised on carrots and celery. Got to eat my viggies because I know I'm going to get a whole lot of minuets on the court this year."

He realy loves Ashly, "girls I meet see her with me or they see her name tattooed on my arm and I say,'she's the special woman in my life.' Thats all they need to know" {that's the sweetest thing I've EVER heard!!! I think I like him too much...}

I know its REALY weird but the one thing i realy wanted to know about Kevin was his middle name. I love knowing peoples middle names and i did'nt know his and it was driving me crazy! but in this awsome thing I found out that his name is Kevin Maurice Garnett. (is'nt that nice??!)

here's somthin I like.. "I dont drink or smoke or go out tmuch at all," he says. "I've done all that, and it got me in trouble. I have an image to uphold. People are watching; kids are watching. I prefer staying home with Bug playing CDs and Sega."

Everyone in the world knows Kevin jumped from HS to the NBA but not evryone knows he's going to college now. He's taking a business-correspondence course through the University of Minnesota. And he bought a computer last summer and has started studying the stock market, according to his agent =) he must be smart..

On Kevins right arm you might have seen a tattoo (it is kinda big) well it's his initials and under his initials is a scorpion, "My mother's a Scorpio, so I got a Scorpion," said Garnett. "I saw that the tattooist could do a scorpion with a tag on the back for a name. So on the tag I put my little sister's name [Ashley] - that's my heart." He says he's always wondered what it felt like to get one and found that, "it hurt like hell." On his other arm he has one of an arm holding a basketball with the words "Skys The Limet" on top and nba.com says it says "Blood, Sweat and Tears" on it too but I haven't seen that. it's very big and very ugly. (I think thats the only thing I dont like about the guy =) ) I'm thinking he got Sky's The Limet From Notorious B.I.G.'s Song Sky's the Limet, ="Stay far from timid, Only make moves when your hearts in it and live the phrase Sky's The Limet" that sounds like him doesn't it??

When Kevin found out that his close friend Stphon Marbury was drafted to the Timberwoves Kevin was kinda excited, "I just about broke my TV when they announced the trade," says Garnett. "I was so excited I was throwing stuff.I jumped out my window, jumped off my deck onto the trampoline out back."

.... I think the way they met was, Stephon got Kevins phone number when he was about 15 and Kevin was about 16 and called him and they talked for a while and talked often for the next couple of years. They talked on the phone so much Kevins mom made Kevin give her half his pay check from Burger King (Yeah he worked at Burger King!!) (CUTE!) Stephon was a friend who stood by him in hard times, like when Kevin got put in jail for being in a fight when he realy did'nt do a thing. He had NO part in it. He says he was abandoned by his coach and people he considered friends. But not Stephon. "Stephon was a real insperation in Kevins life," says Kevins mother Shirley. "Stephon served as a listener, someone who was there in a tough time."...... I think the first time they met face to face was when Kevin moved to Chicago to go to Farragut. "He's been like a brother to me," Stephon says. "He's helped me in so many ways. I'm glad I could play with him because we're having fun. He's great."

....But will they stay together forever? "If we keep this team together, even for four years, look out. Right now, I can look at Stephon know what he's going to do. Gugs can look at me and read me just like Stockton and Malone. They know everything about each other." Flip Saunders their coach says, "I'm very confident Kevin is going to be back here, He's our pioneer, our Christopher Columbus. He's going to take this team where it wants to go, and I think that's somthing he thrives on."

well they DIDN'T stay together forever. SAD SAD SAD... I got a couple problems with Mr. Marbury for that one..

Kevins Mother, Shirley Irby Garnett, Lives in South Carolina. She is a Jehovah's Witness and raised Kevin according to her faith. "I like the teaching of the Bible and live by it," she says. "That's what has helped Kevin. If he continues on that foundation, he'll be fine. He's been trained." Shirly Did her very best for her kids growing up.. "It was hard, very hard -- to eat rice many nights, to go to the grocery store and realize you have only $20 on your Visa, having to walk when my car was stolen several times," she says. "I cried many nights." Mr 125 Million dollar Man wont let anything like that happen now!!! "He found out one day I was buying Goodwill clothes," she says. "He didn't like nothing used, always wanted the best. Right to this day, he won't buy anything used or on sale." again, I dont think he needs to worry bout the $$$ no more.. "He's positive, loves people and believes in giving. I think he would have made a great social worker." {how cute would that be?!} Garnett is her maiden name. The oldest of nine children, she worked rotating shifts at a 3M plant and ran a hair-styling business to support Kevin and her two daughters Ashly and Sonya. {Sonya Left, Ashly, Mom Kevin} She says she would like Kevin "to marry a nice, Southern girl when he is about 30 and have plenty of babies." {(Southern girl? damn. how bout Cali Girl???)} "He's my baby. He just amazes me -- not above God -- but he amazes me."

I'm not gonna write about his dad because it seems like Kevin does'nt want anything written about him.. and If Kevin dont want anything bout him said i'm not gonna say anythin =)
