CHEATS

HOW TO GET MISSINGNO AND LEVEL 100+ POKEMON:
first, talk to that old guy who teaches you how to catch a
weedle. When he asks you if you're in a hurry, say NO. Then, fly to
Cinnbar Island and surf up and down the east coast so it looks like
you're half on water and half on land. The trick is that you fight
Pokemon from the area you've just been, so use it to get Safari
Zone Pokemon too. Sometimes you'll fight this screwed up
trainer. WARNING! If Missingno screws up your game just release him.

MASTERBALL CHEAT:
If you hold B+down while you're throwing a Pokeball, sometimes it will transform it into a Masterball so it catches the Pokemon. It doesn't always work though.

OLD GUY ON ROOF:
If you go to Cinnbar island, try to open the gym. It will say that it's locked. Then surf into the water and walk back straight towards the gym door. Then look at the guy sitting on the gym roof!
