Sega's arcade hit comes to Dreamcast!

  NEW! Poetry and Doll Maker with Galleries!     [Learn About Our Ecommerce]
Graphics Gallery!

Buckle up - it's sheer asphalt anarchy! Crazy Taxi screeches onto Sega Dreamcast with one wild and hilarious joy-riding jaunt. As a fearless cabbie with attitude, you're driven by a single goal: to rack up the mega-bucks in fares and tips before your shift ends. It's a race against the clock as you pick up passengers and white-knuckle it through busy streets and back alleys to their various destinations.

To keep that meter collecting cash, you've gotta take the fastest route possible, even if it means bending the traffic laws - just a little. Drive the wrong way down a one-way street, catch air as you sail over rooftops, swerve between oncoming traffic, or plough through a pavement cafe. But beware - the city is full of obstacles that are guaranteed to slow you down. And time is money! So get a grip on the wheel, sharpen your senses, and don't lose your cool.

Here is a map of the Arcade Version of Crazy Taxi.

Here is a map of the Original Map

When you chose Arcade, Original or Crazy Box you are bale to choose between 4 different cabbies here they are.

Axel : He has an all round average car.

B.D.Joe : With highest top speed, but slow on grass

Gena : With highest top speed, but slow on grass

Gus : Acceleration is slow, but its heavy weight make it less problem when hitting obstacles. Also fast on grass.

After selecting the drivers, the game begins. You have to find passengers, load them on, and take them to the destination area. You will get the fare paid, and head for another new customer. Keep on going until your timer reaches zero and game over.

All available customers have a dollar sign on their head and a circle surrounding him/her. You have to stop within the circle (no need to the completely in). The color of the dollar and the circle represents the distance from their current location to the destination. From far to near :

¡@Green¡ÖLime¡ÖYellow¡ÖOrange¡ÖRed

Green Color will have a distance up to 1km and and above, while Red Color will be as short as 200m or even shorter.

When arrived at destination area, judgement for this trip will be made
based on the counter on the head of the customer :

Green = SPEEDY
Yellow = NORMAL
Red = SLOWLY
Purple = BAD

The time bonus will be based on the judgement :

SPEEDY +5 seconds
NORMAL +2 seconds
SLOWLY No bonus
BAD Customer doesn't pay and get off

When the game ends, you will be graded based on the amount of money you earned :

E Class License $000.01- $999.99
D Class License $1000.00-$1999.99
C Class License $2000.00-$2999.99
B Class License $3000.00-$3999.99
A Class License $4000.00-$4999.99
S Class License $5000.00-$9999.99
AWESOME $10000.00-$19999.99
CRAZY $20000.00+

If you are in the top 20, you can enter your initial.
