| Green Anoles are very fun pets to have. They are small lizards from the "Anole" family. There are over 200 species of anoles. Green anoles (or Anolis Carolinensis) are native to much the SouthEast United States including much of Florida to Louisiana, and Texas. Most pet stores have them, as they are becoming very popular. They are relatively easy to take care of, once you get used to them. They are also very interesting to watch in their enviornment. It's neat to study their colour-changing patterns, as they can change diferent shades of green and brown. Some like to be handled while some will run away frightened. They have different personalities, but some can become tamed with frequent gentle handling. They do require some care and responsibility which youmust be ready for though! We will go through that in detail in the different sections. |
