In order to go into revelations one must first look at the words in the book of Mathew chapter 24 verse 3..As Jesus was sitting on the mount of Olives the disciples came to Him privately and said what will be the sign of your coming and the end of the age?
JESUS ANSWERED.."Watch out that no one deceive you.For many will come in my name,claiming I am the Christ,and will deceive manyYou will hear of wars and rumors of wars,but see to it you are not alarmed Such things must happen but the end is still to come...Nation will rise against nation,and kingdom against kingdom..There will be famine and earthquakes in various places..All these are the begining of birth pains.."
NOTE..Let us ask ourselves thousands of yrs later here we are today are not these things occuring more numerous and as never before? One has to stop and really think on this...
JESUS continues..."Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and even put to death and you will be hated by all nations.because of Me."
NOTE..Is this not true today are not missionaries who go to help the lost the poor etc. killed and persecuted?Is there not what is called holy wars where people are being slaughtered for doin right and trying to live a Godly and peaceful life?
JESUS continues..."At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other"
NOTE...Is not the world in a terible mess today ?Is not everyone running to and fro ? are not parents killing children and children killing parents? Is not betrayal all over?We must ask ourselves why are little children raped and murdered like sacrifices are not these the signs of the times ? Shooting in the schools and violence all arounf us?
